Have Some Democrats Had Enough?

May 25, 2010

Is Joe Sestak setting up the “White House”?

“I was offered a job. I answered that”.

Why is Joe Sestak blabbing? Twice on Sunday democratic Congressman Sestak reaffirmed his contention that the White House offered him a prominent job to withdraw from last week’s Pennsylvania democratic senate primary in an attempt save republican turncoat Arlen Specter’s pathetic hide.

Such an offer would be in violation of at least two federal laws. So how can democrat Sestak be so devil may care about implicating his president in a possible corruption scandal? And why is Sestak so insistent on then refusing to name the job offered?

The whole scenario may indicate serious resentment building on the part of some congressional democrats over the baggage their leader has saddled them with.

Arizona Defends The Nation

May 20, 2010

The deleterious effects of illegal immigration on America

The state of Arizona is under siege. War has been declared by the President Of The United States and his coalition allies Mexico, Cuba, Communist China, La Raza (“The Race”), distinguished professors and professoressas of Chicano and Chicana Studies across America, and “Los Suns” bandito leader Al Sharpton.

A formidable, though for the most part disreputable, alliance for one measly state to face up to. But it had to be done. One strong governor, one determined state legislature had to summon the courage to stand up on behalf of the American people and begin enforcing America’s immigration laws.

And despite the demagoguery, slander, misrepresentations and outright lies that have been directed against Governor Jan Brewer and the Arizona State Legislature, Arizona deservedly has the support of a wide majority of the American people who understand that Arizona is doing nothing less than defending the nation.

Maintaining Miranda

May 13, 2010

The Miranda Rights “modified” may be yours

On ABC’s This Week, Attorney General Eric Holder said that he (meaning President Obama) is in favor of “modifying” Miranda Rights for terrorism suspects. This is quite a 180 for a progressive AG who (meaning President Obama) insisted that enemy combatants captured in Afghanistan and Iraq must be “mirandized” prior to questioning.

Coming on the heels of the failed Times Square bombing attempt by Faisal Shahzad, an American citizen, this sudden change in philosophy is being hailed as some type of epiphany on the part of the Obama administration, realizing that they need to “get tough on terrorism”.

Quite to the contrary. What AG Holder (meaning President Obama) is really doing here is adhering to White House Chief Of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s golden adage “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

Warnings From National Prayer Day

May 10, 2010

The importance of remaining a Christian nation

National Prayer Day 2010 was marked by the continued erosion of freedom of religious expression in America.

A Wisconsin judge, acceding to the demands of an atheist group, ruled National Prayer Day “unconstitutional”. Evangelist Franklin Graham’s invitation to speak at the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer service was rescinded for daring to voice criticism of Islam’s treatment of women. Liberal Christians denounced NPD Task Force chair Shirley Dobson for questioning President Obama’s decision to discontinue hosting a National Prayer Day breakfast in the White House.

America has grown indifferent to these “tiny cuts” chipping away at the nation’s Christian heritage. Two decades of revisionist history and the propagation of the “separation of church and state” myth have succeeded, to a high degree, in transforming our nation’s “trust in God” into faith in government. The first step to the authoritarian rule of socialism or communism.

Mahony v Arizona

May 3, 2010

Cardinal Roger Mahony does not speak for the Catholic Church on illegal immigration

Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles is pictured above at the forefront of Saturday’s march opposing Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration bill. The cardinal has long supported amnesty for illegals and is an outspoken opponent of the AZ measure. Outspoken to the point of demeaning his position by slandering Arizona lawmakers as Nazi’s.

Catholic forums have been filled with questions on whether Cardinal Mahony speaks with the authority of the Catholic Church on illegal immigration, as he would in opposing abortion, for example. The answer is NO.
