There was something many Christians found likeable in Hitchens
There is a publicist’s maxim that goes something to the effect of “what pleases we forget, what irritates stays with us”. Few Christians could forget atheist Christopher Hitchens.
Hitchens’ caustic manner made the average nasty, intellectual snob appear quite companionable by comparison. And Hitchens always seemed to be at his irritating best when the subject was God and His pathetic, deluded followers.
Yet, there was something many Christians found likeable in Christopher Hitchens. We believe it was simply the intellectual honesty of Hitchen’s atheism.

Santorum and Bachmann offer the Reagan style of leadership America is looking for
Dear Iowa, what are you thinking? What have Christian conservatives been rallying for, praying for, during these last two and a half years?
A genuine conservative to lead the country back from the edge of economic collapse, stand firm against China and Iran, unleash our untapped sources of oil and natural gas, end Obamacare, uphold the inalienable right to life and defend the sanctity of the traditional family.
It’s in our grasp – if America is offered the right candidate. Conservatism prevails when it’s genuine. Newt Gingrich, for all his intellect and debating skills, brings a lot distracting baggage and some unsettling questions to table.
Rick Santorum and Michele Bachman have everything we could have hoped for as candidates. There is no reason to settle for less.

Our government is led by “those who are wise in their own opinion and clever in their own sight” and “who acquit the guilty for a bribe and deprive the innocent of justice”.
America stands on a precipice facing fiscal insolvency and social unrest within. We are threatened by radical Islam and Communist China abroad. The United States Of America is becoming a mere shadow of what we were twenty-five years ago.
Barack Obama’s fault? Blame the liberals, democrats, RINO’s?
We The People, collectively as a nation, have the government we asked for. America has gradually turned it’s back on God and our Christian heritage. We discarded the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, the wisdom they drew from the Bible.
Yet if We The People are willing to once again heed the Wisdom offered us by God through the Bible, we can pull our country back from the precipice. And a wise place to begin is the Book Of Proverbs.

Cardinal Warns America On Secularization – “It’s A War”

“If Christians do not stand strong… secularization will destroy us”
Cardinal Raymond Burke is warning Christian America that the rapid escalation of secularization in our society has the US “well on the way” to persecution of Christians.
Cardinal Burke tells us in no uncertain terms that “It’s a war” between “a culture of secularization which is quite strong in our nation” and “the Christian culture which has marked the life of the United States strongly during the first 200 years of its history.”
“If Christians do not stand strong, give a strong witness and insist on what is right and good for us both as and individuals and society, this secularization will in fact predominate and it will destroy us.”
Actually Cardinal Burke understates in saying persecution of Christians is well on the way. It has already begun.

Jesus’ Conversation With A Suffering Soul

“A suffering soul is closest to my heart”
One of the most common questions concerning God is the reason for so much suffering in the world. Physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual suffering, often compounded by despair, can overwhelm even the strongest of us.
A common Christian answer to God’s reason for permitting suffering is to bring about or lead us to “a greater good”. While that is probably true, that “greater good” often seems beyond our comprehension and therefore such an explanation usually brings little comfort.
Dairy Of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska entries 1485 through 1489 are literally recorded as conversations between Jesus and souls in various states, one of which will be applicable to anyone. Entry 1487 describes Jesus’ conversation with a soul immersed in physical, emotional and spiritual suffering.

Nazify Wall Street Movement

Most of the gullible occupiers don’t realize what they’re wishing for
The unhappy socialists who have transformed public parks around the world into no-man’s land territories and bio-hazard landfills could be more aptly identified as a Nazify Wall Street Movement. Most of them just don’t realize it.
The Nazis were Germany’s National Socialist Workers Party. And Nazi policies were spot on with the demands of the occupy protests – government control of banks and major industries, government limitations on property ownership, government controlled healthcare, government guaranteed employment and incomes, free college education, etc.
One other very telling comparison is the Nazify crowd’s blatant anti-Semitism – Jews and “Zionists” are at the roots of the country’s and the world’s problems.
Unfortunately the majority of the occupy squatters are not familiar enough with history to realize that successful socialist revolutions may initially eat the rich, but always end in devouring the country.

Cross Dressing Girl Scouts Of America

We have previously posted articles on the feminist takeover of the Girl Scouts Of America and on GSA’s “proud partnering with Planned Parenthood”.
Now, in continuing to bring America’s daughters out of the dark ages of God, country and family, GSA is taking another enlightened step forward – the admission of boys who “identify as girls”.
This is actually the righting of a grave injustice. According to Felisha Archuleta, her 7 year old son, Bobby Montoya, has believed he is a girl since the age of two. Bobby therefore felt “humiliated” when he was inexplicably turned down for membership in the local Girl Scout troop.
No need to worry though. Liberal fairness has prevailed. GSA Of Colorado has now accepted Bobby Montoya as a full fledged Girl Scout and sent the Neanderthal troop leader who initially rejected Bobby just because of his sex to “sensitivity classes”.

Arab Spring, Sharia Harvest

Apparently in the left’s eyes there are good theocracies and bad theocracies
With the mob murder of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, President Obama and the left are proclaiming that the wonderful promise of their Arab Spring is beginning to unfold.
Unleashed is more like it. Though there is little sympathy to be had for Gadhafi, the ugly scenario surrounding his beating and summary execution typifies the mob violence that has become part of daily life in the Arab countries supposedly being liberated and democratized. And the street riots and random acts of terror are anything but spontaneous.
In spite of what the president and his mainstream media propaganda ministry would have us believe, we are not witnessing an Arab style Continental Congress proclaiming liberty and justice for all. The fruit of the Arab Spring is an Iranian woven Iron Curtain of oppression descending across the Middle East and North Africa – the establishment of Sharia Law.

Tea Party members inexplicably brush aside the real conservatives in the race
What Christian conservatives want in a presidential candidate should be an open book.
Upfront, a family person of faith with proven character. Philosophically, a candidate who believes in small government, low taxes, a free market economy, the right to life, the traditional family, etc. Intellectually, someone who can think on their feet and defend their positions in debate.
Every four years every republican claims to be just such a conservative, as in this year’s primary debates. But listening to the talk, without examining the walk, is how we were burnt by Bush I and Bush II, whose presidencies ended in disaster.
And that appears to be the road we are headed down again. Fool us three times, well, shame on them. Fool us this time and America might not survive the consequences. If conservatives are serious about putting up a real conservative in 2012, they better start looking toward Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann.

Rev Robert Jeffress Aids And Abets The Left

Dividing the conservative vote on who’s worthy of Christian support
With the 2012 attempt to unseat Barack Obama approaching, there is nothing that the secular left wing media enjoys more than watching Christian conservatives dividing against themselves on which republicans are worthy of Christian support.
OMSNBC hosts have been regaling the uproar produced by Rev Robert Jeffress’ proclamation that Mormonism is a “cult”. Progressive Catholic Chris Matthews editorialized that Rev Jeffers’ nasty reference to Mitt Romney’s religion proves that religious beliefs have no place in politics and voting decisions.
Which is exactly how people like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank get elected in a nation that is overwhelming composed of Christians.
