Did it really have to come to this?
Father John Corapi has clarified his stunning and confusing announcement made last Friday. He has not left Catholic Church, but he has left the priesthood, from now on to be known as John Corapi The Black SheepDog.
In our previous post we pointed to the likely possibility of Father Corapi’s leaving the priesthood creating more dissention and distrust between the faithful and our, for the most part, wonderful Bishops. And that seems to be the case with many assuming a liberal Bishop has been attempting to silence the outspoken Father Corapi, while others are criticizing Father Corapi’s haste in making such a radical decision.
While the outside world may never have all the facts, it would certainly seem that it didn’t have to come to this.

Where does the “Black SheepDog” now stand with the Catholic Church?
In March we reported on, and lamented, the Catholic Church’s suspension of Father John Corapi from public ministry based upon a single, uncorroborated allegation. A former adult female employee alleged that Father Corapi had engaged in, as Father Corapi described it, “everything from drug addiction to multiple sexual exploits with her and several other adult women”.
The whole scenario smacks of an attack by the left against a prominent member of the Catholic clergy who unabashedly speaks out for the Magisterium of the Church on the right to life and the sanctity of traditional marriage and the family.
On Friday, Father Corapi released a long awaited update on his case. But this was not the news Catholics had been hoping for.

GOP needs to note the abject fear Sister Sarah strikes in democrats
Never have so many, invested so much, to accomplish so little. Unless, that is, the drive by media had sent droves of reporters to Juneau Alaska to shift through 24,199 pages of Sarah Palin’s e-mails with the intent of reinforcing Sister Sarah’s image as the Joan of Arc of American politics.
On the heels of former Palin aide Frank Bailey’s pure innuendo flop Blind Allegiance, the left had been drooling over the prospect of publishing the former governor’s private correspondence. For once, it seemed, they would actually be smearing Palin with some dirt based upon facts.
Like Congressman Anthony Weiner, everyone has some kind of internet dirt or corruption to hide, right? Not so with Sister Sarah.
Especially disappointed are the staff at Kids’ News, OMSNBC. Beleaguered by the continuing exposure of Weiner’s sordid e-mail traffic, Ed Schultzie & Co have been promising their hundreds of viewers a full blown Palin e-mail “scandal” exposing the sordid truth about the woman they obsess over daily.

“Because you are weak I take you in my arms…”
Dairy Of Saint Maria Faustina entries 1485 through 1489 are literally recorded as conversations between Jesus and souls in various states, one of which will be applicable to anyone. “Conversation of the Merciful God” with a Sinful Soul, Despairing Soul, Suffering Soul, Soul Striving After Perfection, and a Perfect Soul.
These are beautiful, moving dialogues in which Jesus implores us to turn to Him, irregardless of the state of our soul, and place our trust in His unfathomable love and mercy to see us through life and safely “to the home of My Father”.
For those who find themselves despairing of hope in this world, here is Jesus’ personal conversation with you.
