Time is running short to thwart the boot heel of homosexual marriage
We the people have never voted to legalize homosexual marriage. The ludicrous concept was rejected in every one of the thirty-one state referendums offered to voters. Earlier this month, Washington became the seventh state to mandate same-sex marriage by legislative or judicial fiat.
Friday NJ Governor Chris Christie defended the people of New Jersey and vetoed a similar attempt by the state legislature. The predictable wailing and gnashing of liberal teeth, and vulgar diatribes of homosexual activists, are typically intended to distract from the democratic basis for Christie’s veto.
“An issue of this magnitude and importance… should be left to the people of New Jersey to decide. Whether or not to redefine hundreds of years of societal and religious traditions should not be decided by 121 people in the State House in.”
But that is exactly what will happen on a national level if we the people fail to stand up for our rights and demand a Constitutional Amendment to protect the sanctity of marriage and the traditional family.

US Bishops have only themselves to blame for Catholic indifference on abortion and contraception

Will is one of many who have pointed out that in facing the Pill Mandate the Catholic Church may merely be reaping what they have sown in their decades long dance with liberalism.
Flirting with liberalism inevitably leads to fatal attraction – for economies, societies and religions – as the Church is learning now. EWTN founder Mother Angelica once warned “I am so tired of you, liberal Church in America. You’re sick…. You have nothing to offer. You do nothing but destroy”.
Prophetic words for the Church hierarchy, but few Bishops have ever had the good sense to listen to a nun.

Televangelist Grifter Obama

Our Christian of convenience president wants us to continue to seed his wasteful Stewardship
We’ve all seen the televangelist grifters who work the airwaves exploiting the desperate and gullible for cash.
Well there’s more competition out there now for the likes of “Reverends” Robert Tilton and Mike Murdock. Barack Obama apparently underwent a revival of his Christian Faith just in time for the annual National Prayer Breakfast.
Our Christian of convenience president told the gathered crowd that God wants Christians to seed the Obama socialist ministry through higher taxes. Spouting Scripture from his teleprompter, Rev Obama cited “For unto whom much is given, much shall be required”, as if that settled the issue.
But if the president had any real understanding of Scripture, the last thing he would to do in an election year is try to get Biblical about the responsibility of Stewardship
