Jesus’ Conversation With A Suffering Soul
November 20, 2011
“A suffering soul is closest to my heart”
One of the most common questions concerning God is the reason for so much suffering in the world. Physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual suffering, often compounded by despair, can overwhelm even the strongest of us.
A common Christian answer to God’s reason for permitting suffering is to bring about or lead us to “a greater good”. While that is probably true, that “greater good” often seems beyond our comprehension and therefore such an explanation usually brings little comfort.
Dairy Of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska entries 1485 through 1489 are literally recorded as conversations between Jesus and souls in various states, one of which will be applicable to anyone. Entry 1487 describes Jesus’ conversation with a soul immersed in physical, emotional and spiritual suffering.

The Chaplet Of Divine Mercy
August 28, 2011
“You are bringing humankind closer to Me”
Jesus gave the Chaplet Of Divine Mercy, through Saint Maria Faustina, to “the whole world” as a prayer for obtaining God’s mercy. We hope that no Christian will dismiss this powerful spiritual resource simply because of the Chaplet’s Catholic origin.
As our country and the whole world continue to become enveloped in the moral evils that have always filled the void whenever Christianity is suppressed or marginalized, it is incumbent upon all Christians who make up the Body Of Christ to pray for America and the world to turn back to God.
Entry 929 of The Diary Of Saint Faustina records Jesus’ words on the power of the chaplet to do just that – My daughter, those words of your heart are pleasing to Me, and by saying the chaplet you are bringing humankind closer to Me
The Chaplet can be offered for a general intention such as mercy for all sinners dying during that hour and to implore Jesus’ mercy for our personal intentions.

Praying For Jesus’ Divine Mercy
August 21, 2011
Pray the Chaplet Of Divine Mercy, or pray as you feel, but pray
On May 18 we began our series on Turning America To Jesus’ Divine Mercy noting that America is hurting like no time since the Great Depression and that America is vulnerable as never before.
Things have gone downhill from there. The nation’s misery continues to mount, but, as a nation, we are simply reaping what we have sown.
“As Anne Graham Lott, daughter of Rev Billy Graham, warned after the September 11 attacks, “Americans in a sense have shaken their fist at God and said, God, we want you out of our schools, our government, our business, we want you out of our marketplace…
We need to turn to God first of all and say, God, we’re sorry..”
Ten years later we are well on our way to becoming a neo-pagan Banana Republic ruled by a two party dictatorship. Our hope does not lay in Mitt Romney or just the Tea Party. Our hope, as the Founding Fathers acknowledged, lies in God.
The hour is ominously late and it is time for Christian America to pray as one to Our Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness and mercy. And Jesus has given us the prayer by which we can do so.

Jesus’ Conversation With A Despairing Soul
June 5, 2011
“Because you are weak I take you in my arms…”
We have mentioned previously that the dialogues between Saint Maria Faustina and Jesus recorded in her diary are, in many cases, Jesus’ personal conversations with each of us.
Dairy Of Saint Maria Faustina entries 1485 through 1489 are literally recorded as conversations between Jesus and souls in various states, one of which will be applicable to anyone. “Conversation of the Merciful God” with a Sinful Soul, Despairing Soul, Suffering Soul, Soul Striving After Perfection, and a Perfect Soul.
These are beautiful, moving dialogues in which Jesus implores us to turn to Him, irregardless of the state of our soul, and place our trust in His unfathomable love and mercy to see us through life and safely “to the home of My Father”.
For those who find themselves despairing of hope in this world, here is Jesus’ personal conversation with you.

The Divine Mercy Image
May 25, 2011
“The blood and water that gushed forth as a fountain of mercy for us”
“But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and at once blood and water came out” John 19:34
On February 22, 1931 Jesus appeared to Sister Faustina with two rays – one red the other clear – emanating from His chest.
“In the evening… I saw the Lord Jesus clothed in a white garment. From beneath the garment, slightly drawn aside at the breast, there were emanating two large rays, one red, the other pale. After a while, Jesus said to me”
Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and [then] throughout the world.

Turning America To The Divine Mercy 1
May 18, 2011
“Have mercy on us and the whole world”
A scant 25 years ago, America was the economic envy of the world. We are now a debtor nation with rampant unemployment. Pensions are in jeopardy, Social Security is a poverty existence and the last two generations of Americans have been decimated by 52 million abortions. America is hurting like no time since the Great Depression.
The Middle East is falling to Islamic Jihadists. Iran is approaching nuclear capability. Russia and Communist China supply our enemies with arms and weapons technologies. OPEC has us at its mercy. Our country has been infiltrated by terrorists who simply walked across our southern border. America is vulnerable as never before.
The great nation whose motto was once “In God We Trust”, has instead placed their faith man. Our perpetual crises in leadership coincide precisely with the spiritual demise of the American people. That fact provides us with the only real hope to avert averting an eventual collapse of our country.
Turning back to Christ and imploring His Divine Mercy for ourselves, our country and “the whole world”.
