One of the most frequently mentioned ramifications of President Obama’s destructive economic policies is the trillions of dollars of debt which will be passed down to future generations. A sort of combined massive Obama inheritance tax and economic legacy for our children and grandchildren.

This future loss of general prosperity is, of course, an intended consequence of Obamanomics, which has always been about establishing government control over the nation’s wealth and assets, not rebuilding the economy.

In a similar way, the President’s Pill Mandate, and the spread of homosexual marriage through legislative and judicial fiat, are intended to establish precedent for limiting the freedoms of religion and speech for future generations of Christians.

So what will be our children’s spiritual inheritance? The Canadian Parliament is giving us a glimpse should Christians fail to stand up for our faith in the escalating war on freedom of religion in America.

All indications are that Canadian Bill 13, the “Accepting Schools Act”, will pass later this spring. Under the act, Catholic schools will be prohibited by law from teaching the Church’s doctrine that homosexuality is “intrinsically disordered”.

MPP Glen Murray stated during the final debate, “I have to say to the Bishops – You’re not allowed to do that anymore.” That’s Kathleen Sebelius you hear whistling and stomping her feet.

The bill also requires Catholic schools to establish “gay clubs” and that, beginning in 2013, all prospective teachers be required to undergo training classes in “sexual orientation” and “gender diversity.”

Liberalism’s only hope has always been indoctrination of the young, and Canada’s former Minister Of Education states point blank that she views the education system as the government’s “single most important avenue” to overcoming “homophobia.”

How many foolish Canadian Christians thought their education system was about reading, writing and arithmetic?

Here in America, our president seeks through his Pill Mandate to establish legal precedent for that very same type of government control over our churches. And if he succeeds, that will be the national spiritual inheritance handed down to our children and grandchildren.

Government to church – “You’re not allowed to do that anymore”.

We can all lament the policies of Barack Obama and the progressive left, but the escalating spiritual and moral collapse of our nation are simply the predictable results of decades of Christian apathy.

Had Christian America poured out into the streets in massive protests when prayer was outlawed in our schools, the killing of preborn children adjudicated to be a right, or the first time a union of homosexuals was honored as “marriage”, America would have taken a far different course than the path that has led us to this point.

How many things of even the mildest of importance can we do, or how many government buildings or major corporations can we enter, without providing proof of identification?

Yet liberals insist, for some reason (though we might be able to guess at a couple), that no one should be required to establish their legal identity when voting or registering to vote.

Voter ID laws, OMSNBC and CNN tell us, are a political tactic designed solely for the purpose of suppressing minority voters. And Attorney General Eric Holder, as we see in the following video, has stated emphatically that individual voter fraud is not a problem of concern in America and that claims to the contrary are fabricated or wildly exaggerated.

The man pictured at the left, by the way, is apparently AG Holder. And here we had always thought that Eric Holder is…

clean shaven.

The man is actually a reporter for James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas (“truth” for you liberals). During last week’s primary in Washington, DC the reporter went to a polling place at 3401 Nebraska Avenue, NW and asked if a Eric Holder was registered. At no point does the reporter claim to be Eric Holder, but the poll worker literally forces Holder’s ballot into the reporter’s hand.

The reporter protests that he does not have any identification. But no one cares when you’re just voting. “You don’t need it. It’s all right. As long as you’re in here, you’re on our list, and that’s who you say you are, you’re okay.”

Gee ain’t it nice to have such a trusting government?

For all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth about voter id laws “disenfranchising” minority voters, not one case has ever been brought to court. Not one.

But while Jimmy Carter is chasing around the world monitoring elections, sure to be casting votes for Mr Obama this November will be illegal immigrants who are being promised citizenship, convicted felons registering on or as close to election day as possible, street people paid to vote (as often as possible), party hacks voting multiple times under false names, and, ala the Chicago democratic machine – the dead.

Those are the “voters rights” the real Eric Holder is interested in protecting.

Hundreds of thousands of American’s gave their lives to give us, and preserve for us, the right to vote. Not so long ago, the “vote” was literally refereed to as “sacred”.

But for socialist regimes, the vote is spit upon and mocked as a joke. A carefully engineered and controlled scam, periodically carried out to lend legitimacy to authoritarian rule.

It has come to the point where one sometimes has ask the question “why do our US Service Men And Women do it?” Why are they still willing to put their lives on line for their country?

Despite maintaining the most powerful, well equipped, and technologically advanced military force in history, America has not won a war since 1945. Since WWII over 100,000 of our soldiers, sailors and airmen have given their lives in combat, and countless hundreds of thousands more have sustained life changing injuries, in wars their leaders had no intention of winning.

This travesty continues today in Afghanistan where our service men and women hear a great deal from their Commander And Chief about the “sacrifices” expected of them, but never the only word any soldier should be asked to give his or her life for – “Victory”.

Killing the enemy and winning wars is far down the list of priorities in “today’s army”, which now focuses on “diversity” and “inclusiveness”. Under the current rules of engagement, heroic, selfless acts of courage in battle are just as likely to result in a court martial for “war crimes” as a medal of valor.

There is little thanks on the part of our government for the sacrifices our men and women make. Thousands of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans are unemployed and/or homeless, and VA hospitals are notorious snake pits.

Why do men and women still volunteer, still continue to serve? The only possible answer is love of country. And the country is, in essence, we the people, all of us.

What can we the people do in return to thank our service men and women? Many of us could be doing a lot more, but the very least we all should be expected to do is to at least take the time to remember them.

Rumors abound that President’s rebuke/warning to the US Supreme Court to uphold his healthcare takeover was precipitated by a leak within the court itself.

Justices traditionally take a preliminary vote on a case on the Friday following arguments. No clerks or other personnel are in attendance, just the nine justices. Thus the most likely suspects would obviously be Justices Ginsberg, Sotomayor or Kagan. And opinion is divided on whether the President’s decrying of “judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint” was based upon having learned the preliminary vote had gone for upholding, gutting or overturning Obamacare.

Why would our President throw a pubic hissy fit directed at the Supreme Court if he knew the vote had gone his way? There are a couple of political reasons, but the fundamental idea is that whatever the Court ultimately decides, Barack Obama wants America to get used to the idea of White House control over our judicial system.

Politically, the staged outburst works in any case. If the Justices do uphold, the President will garner tremendous credit from his base for having intimidated perceived conservative members of the Court. If Obamacare is gutted or overturned, he can claim “judicial activism” as the reason.

The president knows it’s ludicrous for liberals to rail against judicial activism. Liberal judges are the founding fathers of legislating from the bench. And judges being human, personal and political views are likely to occasionally influence decisions.

But where once an occasional “bleeding heart” jurist would twist the law slightly in favor of defendants, over the last two decades liberal judges have come to feel empowered by their robes to overturn voter referendums and create “constitutional rights” based upon their particular views of society’s needs and ills.

And now our commander and chief community organizer is abolishing any pretense of maintaining an independent judiciary. With the appointments of Hispanic activist Sonia Sotomayor and political hack Elena Kagan to the nation’s highest court, Barack Obama made it clear that a willingness to issue rulings on the basis of political ideology is his litmus test for Supreme Court nominations.

Throw in the President’s continued attempts to intimidate members of the Court whom he feels are opposed to his political ideology, and we are witnessing yet another nightmarish aspect of the socialist “new direction” Barack Obama intends to take America.

For socialism to become firmly embedded in any nation, the judiciary must function in lockstep with the political will of the government. There is no separation of powers in a socialist state. The courts exist solely to provide the cloak of legal legitimacy to the evils of authoritarian government – state control over all aspects of life, privilege of those in power and suppression of dissent.

And this is exactly what is at stake in this year’s elections.

An impartial judiciary is the most crucial of our constitution’s system of checks and balances. Should our courts become corrupted in favor of the government, then we are all at the mercy of the government.

And history has shown that there is little mercy in socialism.

Last August when HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the Obamacare “historic new guidelines” on mandatory insurance coverage for contraception, abortifacient drugs, and sterilizations, we nailed the “Pill Mandate” for what it was – Barack Obama’s attempt to bring socialism’s foremost opponent, the Roman Catholic Church, to heel. Period.

The issue was never about making sure Sandra Fluke had all the taxpayer funded contraceptive goodies her heart desired. The goal is to establish precedent for the federal government dictating where religious freedoms in America begin and end.

The White House made this clear to representatives of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops in a meeting during which they were told that since “progressive Catholics” (Catholics who thumb their nose at the Vatican) supported the president’s policy, the Bishops would have no further voice in the matter.

Pope Benedict XVI clearly understands the seriousness of this threat. In the following video clip, Glenn Beck discusses his recent visit to the Vatican, the depth of the liberal progressive assault on the Catholic Church, and the need for all people of Faith to unite in opposing it – while there’s still time.

This is Glenn Beck at his best and it is easy to see why Beck became the primary target of every George Soros backed left wing entity in the country.

Over the last two decades, America and the world have indeed been reshaped by evil, or more precisely, by “those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5). Those who honor the abortionist, celebrate the deviant, exalt the blasphemer, revere the dictator and exhort understanding for the terrorist.

Pope Benedict XVI is strengthening the Catholic Church for this “battle… against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens” (Ephesians 6).

Americans of Faith cannot just go on showing up at Church or Temple once a week and then going home to eat our milk and cookies. As Beck warns, if Barack Obama’s Pill Mandate succeeds in suppressing the voice of the Catholic Church in America, the rest will be easy pickings.

If we want to retain the freedom of religion hundreds of thousands of Americans fought and died for, then in this confrontation with the Obama administration “we are all Catholics, we are all Jews and we are all Protestants”.

Make that Mormons too, Glenn.

Most everyone has actually underestimated the depth of the evil imbedded in President Obama’s Pill Mandate. The mandate is more than just a political ploy.

Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and many in the media are warning that the HHS Contraception Mandate would force the closings of the country’s Catholic hospitals, universities, charities and other social service agencies. This is true. The Obamacare version of a conscience clause would only exempt such Catholic institutions if they hire and serve only Catholics.

The results would seem to be disastrous. Catholic Charities USA, for example, is second only to the federal government in providing services to America’s needy, regardless of religious belief, if any. But here is where the evil deepens.

Because this is exactly what the president wants. The purpose of the Pill Mandate IS to force the shutdown of all Catholic institutions in America. And in doing so Barack Obama hopes to lay the foundation for his own type of theocracy – a liberal theocracy, which makes all religions subservient to the dictates of the state.

Many Christians have already acceded to this liberal theocracy, either by publicly refuting the tenets of their Faith in favor of the tenets of liberalism, as in the case of “progressive Catholics”, or by perverting Scripture to justify supporting the liberal sacraments of abortion and homosexual marriage.

The president understands, however, that the true Catholic Church in America will never bend to the will of Caesar on these moral evils. Thus, apparently fancying himself a modern day Henry VIII, Barack Obama intends to eliminate the presence of true Catholicism in America by forcing the Catholic Church to abandon their faith based institutions.

Most will not actually be permanently shutdown. The plan is to co-opt them with secular or liberal Christian managements which will function at the behest of the state.

The hospitals will remain, but will now provide unrestricted abortions on demand, to be followed by “compassionate euthanasia” and physician assisted suicides. The orphanages and adoption agencies will remain, but the focus will no longer be the best interests of children by only adopting them into the stability of homes with both mother and father. The charities will remain, but it will be government that decides on the services provided, and to whom.

The Catholic hospitals, universities, charities and other social service agencies that Barack Obama intends to bring down were fundamental to the growth and well being of our country over the last 150 years. And never did these Catholic based institutions discriminate on the base of faith, race or gender. Indeed, the Catholic Church has always been at the forefront of true social justice issues.

And it was freedom of religion, the constitutional prohibition against government intrusion into affairs of our churches, that enabled the Catholic Church to oppose government on slavery, racial and ethnic discrimination, workers rights, and equal rights for women over those years.

But now our self-proclaimed king will tolerate no such opposition to his personal policies. And it won’t end with the co-opting of Catholic institutions. Next, as in Europe, all clergy will be prohibited from preaching on certain subjects. Eventually all churches will be ordered to accommodate same-sex marriage ceremonies or shut their doors.

And America will become just as much a theocracy as is Iran. Because a theocracy is not just where the clergy govern the state. A theocracy also exists when churches are forced to accept a state sanctioned theology.

And, like Henry VIII, our king will publicly honor himself for having ended “religious divisiveness” in America. Because those who wish to worship will worship as in one – in the Liberal Church Of America.

Sandra Fluke, the 30 year old Georgetown University law student “suffering” from shortage of funds to pay for contraception, finally got to make her pitch for pill money to the US House Of Representatives and the country.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, obviously moved by the plight of Sandra and college students like her, made it clear she will do whatever is necessary to make sure the federal government begins forcing college healthcare plans to provide students with free contraception, abortifacient drugs and sterilizations. Sex toys and emergency prostitutes, however, will have to wait for President Obama’s second term.

Fine for Ms Fluke, but what about those college students who don’t have the looks, personalities, pizzazz, or savoir fare to be able to participate in sexual activity to ease those horrible pressures of college life?

In the interests of fairness, Ms Pelosi found it necessary to hold another committee hearing to address that topical issue. Though this hearing was closed to the media, we somehow inadvertently received a transcript of the proceedings.

Pelosi I first want to thank the committee members for agreeing to meet at this late hour, but addressing the personal needs of America’s college students has become an important issue

Dodd Madame Chair, I think we can all agree that the passion and logic of Ms Fluke’s testimony indicates that due to the enormous pressures our nation’s college students find themselves under – exams, grade point pressure, concerns over the job market, cleaning their own rooms, etc – that it is important they are all able participate in some type of activity, or have some outlet, to ease that pressure

Based upon your committee’s decision on behalf of Ms Fluke, it should be Mr Gumble’s right to obtain, at no expense to himself, sufficient alcoholic beverages to enable him to handle the pressures associated with his pursuit of a college degree in Animal Husbandry

Dodd Ms Pelosi, our President’s policies are based upon fairness and equal access for all, are they not? It is well known that 99% of all college students choose to drink to excess. Are not struggling students like Mr Gumble entitled to the same unimpeded access to beer and Tequila shooters as Ms Fluke is to a monthly allotment of birth control pills or whatever she uses?

(Dodd rises from chair) And if I may remind the committee that, speaking from my years of experience in public service, there is no more appreciative voter than a well plied college student

We will immediately begin drafting a recommendation to the Department Of Health And Human Services to mandate all colleges provide unimpeded, free access to alcoholic beverages throughout the Fall and Spring terms, albeit with a provision that beer only be provided during the shorter summer sessions

Friday NJ Governor Chris Christie defended the people of New Jersey and vetoed a similar attempt by the state legislature. The predictable wailing and gnashing of liberal teeth over “equality”, and the outpouring of vulgar diatribes from homosexual activists, are typically intended to distract from the democratic basis for Christie’s veto.

“I am adhering to what I’ve said since this bill was first introduced – an issue of this magnitude and importance, which requires a constitutional amendment, should be left to the people of New Jersey to decide. Whether or not to redefine hundreds of years of societal and religious traditions should not be decided by 121 people in the State House in Trenton.”

But that is exactly what will happen on a national level if we the people fail to stand up for our rights and demand a Constitutional Amendment to protect the sanctity of marriage and the traditional family.

Same-sex marriage has nothing to do with equal rights. There is no privilege conferred by marriage that cannot be enacted, between any two people, by a simple power of attorney or established by conveyance of property rights under a joint tenancy agreement.

Homosexual marriage is a socialist tool to aide in the destabilization of our society by undermining the traditional family, the building block of any successful culture. Once anything is a family, nothing is a family. And homosexual marriage, as we pointed out in Laws Of Intended Consequences, has become a viable weapon against Christianity, socialism’s most feared enemy.

In every state in which homosexual marriage exists by government mandate, faith based institutions and Christian owned businesses have been sued for “discrimination”.

Two lesbians in Iowa have filed a civil rights action against Victoria Childress, who runs a home-based cake business, for declining to provide a wedding cake for their “marriage” ceremony. Childress is bewildered. “I did not belittle them, I did not speak rudely to them. There were no condescending remarks made, nothing. It’s not so much to do with them, as it’s to do with me, and my walk with God and what I will answer [to] him for.”

It must have been the only place in Iowa selling cakes.

Similar suits have been filed against other Christian owned bakeries, banquet halls, catering services and Bed & Breakfast establishments. Catholic Charities Adoption Agencies are being sued for refusing to adopt out children to homosexual partners. Many have simply been forced to shutdown to the detriment of hundreds of orphan children.

This is the tyranny that Governor Chris Christie has protected the citizens of New Jersey from. Christie is simply saying that if this what the people of NJ want to be subjected to, they should at least be able to vote on it. He is more than willing to let the issue be settled by a November ballot referendum.

But on the path America is being dragged down, Voters’ Referendums to protect marriage and the family have become adjudicated by liberal state courts as “violations of civil rights”.

The time is running short for Americans who understand the destructive farce of same-sex marriage for what it is, to stand up for the rights of the majority. We’ll say it again, and keep saying it until it is either too late or illegal to do so…
