Returning from vacation we find that there’s nothing new under the cloud cast across America from Washington. Even President Obama’s latest “reform”, placing the country’s banks and financial services industry under the arbitrary control of the president and his Treasury Secretary is pretty much the same old.

True unemployment still hovers around 18 - 20%, democrats have been demagoguing unemployment benefits, another stimulus package/slush fund is in the works, health insurance premiums continue to escalate, Iran is running circles around America and the UN, and Barack Obama is wielding his most reliable election year weapon- the race card.

Always careful to refrain from sticking his hands directly in the muck, like a silent smiling buddha statue President Obama sits benignly by as his slavish surrogates do the dirty work of labeling citizens opposed his socialist agenda as racists.

If only, the president reflects, he can just keep control of the congress for two more years, by whatever means necessary, all this racism nonsense won’t be necessary. By then he will have passed the necessary legislation and appointed enough judges to deal with political opponents in the time honored socialist manner. Declare them “enemies of the state”.

For the time being, however, President Obama’s only hope for November is to keep the racial pot boiling. And make no mistake, from the increasingly less subtle innuendo at OMSNBC and CNN, to the NAACP attacks on Tea Party members, on up to the “kill cracker babies” resurgence of the Black Panther Party, the daily charges of racism against those daring to voice opposition to the president’s destructive socialist agenda would not be heard without the tacit approval of Barack Obama.

One word from from our president would put a stop to most of these groundless, vile racism smears. But don’t hold your breath. Mr Obama is well known - admired in some circles - for his political acumen in wielding the race card like a Viking battle axe. Having himself portrayed as a victim of angry whites serves the dual purposes of diverting attention from the president’s failed policies and inspiring anger and fear among African American voters.

No one can come up with a photo of Tea Party members waving the “lynch” signs decried by the NAACP. Despite a $100,000 reward for proof, no one has come up with a video clip of Tea Party members spitting on, or hurling racial epithets at black Congressman John Lewis. Even the Tea Party placards depicting Mr Obama as a witch doctor were nothing more than a comment on the quality of socialized medicine. George Bush was subjected to far worse. Such criticism just goes with the job, and Barack Obama knows it.

The American people voted for a “post racial era” when they elected Barack Obama. Even among those who did not vote for him, the country assumed that at least there would finally be an end to use of race as a political weapon.

President Obama has clearly chosen otherwise, invoking race time and again to invigorate his increasingly demoralized base and silence opposition to his disastrous agenda. A disgrace to his office and very much to the country’s great detriment.

On November 4, 2008, millions of white Americans placed their trust Barack Obama. Now, when many of these same voters oppose his policies, he shamelessly deals them the race card.

Or maybe they just find out he’s a black guy.

2010 remains a trying time for America. President Obama’s socialist steamroller continues, seemingly unabated, to transform the landscape of our nation. Every day seems to dawn with news of another White House “reform” designed to tighten government’s greedy, merciless grasp on our lives. It is a frustrating, frightening time for millions of Americans.

We the people do what we can, voicing our opposition in town hall meetings, Tea Party rallies and petition drives. We flood the White House and Congress with letters, phone calls and e-mails. We mount prayer campaigns from our pulpits and through the internet. Yet the anti-everything except abortion ideology of the distant left seems to prevail.

The insanity of the times can literally drive one to despair, so it is important to just walk away from it all every once in a while and trade our yolk for His. Whether at home or away, let go of everything Obama. At least for a week. Turn off the news. Tune out talk radio. It will all be there when you come back.

From time to time, we all need to renew our zest for life and restore our weary souls by spending some time, one on one, with Jesus. Offer up your disappointments, weariness, anxieties and the outright pain in all areas of your life to Him. No one understands the human condition as well as Our Lord, because He loved us enough to become one of us. And after all of the unspeakable suffering Jesus endured to bring us salvation and the path to eternal life, He is still willing to take on our burdens when they begin to seem overwhelming.

It’s an offer we are not meant to refuse. Breathe. Bask in the relief of His peace and love. It’s ours for the asking.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

The AZ republican primary on August 24 is of critical importance for conservative hopes to take back the republican party. J D Hayworth has mounted a serious campaign to unseat ultimate RINO Senator John McCain-Kennedy. As sour as many of us are over the self serving disgrace that has become the republican party, only a republican party revitalized by new leadership, committed to the true principles of Regan style conservatism, can halt the Obama socialist steamroller.

The Tea Party has been a major factor in this revitalization. Tea Party endorsed conservatives have steadily toppled RNC establishment backed RINOs in this year’s primaries. Concerns over the Tea Party movement evolving into a third party, thereby splitting the republican vote, have thus far proved groundless. But a Tea Party activist is threatening to derail J D Hayworth’s effort in Arizona by splitting just enough of the conservative vote to enable Mr Maverick to keep “reaching across the aisle” for another six years.

Jim Deakin, an entrepreneur who “designs, builds and install fire safety systems”, is running a Tea Party activist campaign in the AZ primary. Mr Deakin is polling at about 7%. Hayworth trails McCain by 10%. Assuming Deakin’s 7% to be strongly conservative voters, Mr Deakin’s withdrawal from the race and endorsement of J D Hayworth would move the polls within the margin of error- a statistical tie.

Based upon his campaign website, Jim Deakin is a true conservative. A Navy veteran, Mr Deakin is right there on all the issues- taxes, spending, healthcare, illegal immigration, abortion and marriage. But, with all due respect, Mr Deakin has no experience in public office and US Senator is not an entry level position.

J D Hayworth served four terms in the US Congress. JD’s voting record during those eight years indeed established him as “The Consistent Conservative”. He narrowly lost his bid for a fifth term in 2006 after his district was restructured and several prominent local “McCain republicans”, who disagreed with Hayworth’s strong opposition to amnesty for illegal aliens, actually endorsed Hayworth’s democratic opponent.

The importance of replacing John McCain-Kennedy with a committed conservative voice cannot be understated. We have sent the following e-mail to Jim Deakin. We encourage conservatives from across the county to do likewise. And though no Tea Party organization has officially endorsed Mr Deakin, all Tea Party members should contact Tea Party Patriots about asking Mr Deakin to withdraw from the AZ primary and strongly endorse J D Hayworth.

Dear Mr Deakin

As a true Christian conservative and Tea Party activist you understand the importance of replacing John McCain in the US Senate with a strong conservative voice.

Your positions on the issues seem impeccable and the people of Arizona would no doubt benefit from your service in some type of public office. But, with all due respect Mr Deakin, you currently do not possess the experience that would qualify you for the position of United States Senator. Your polling at under 10% indicates that the vast majority of republican voters feel likewise.

But that 7% or so of the primary voters may be pivotal in the attempt to retire Senator McCain. We appeal to your sense of patriotism, and your commitment to the people of Arizona, in asking you to withdraw from the republican senatorial primary and strongly endorse J D Hayworth. Doing so would immediately move the race to a statistical dead heat and provide the Hayworth campaign with additional momentum.

There are no doubt areas where you disagree with Mr Hayworth. But J D Hayworth has a proven track record in congress and significant name recognition in the state of AZ. With your candidacy lacking any reasonable hope for success, please ask yourself if continuing is worth the risk of returning John McCain to US Senate for another six years.

Senator McCain’s many years in Washington will enable him to raise significant amounts of money and call upon big names in the RNC establishment for endorsements. Unseating him will require a unified grassroots effort of conservatives committed to reestablishing the principles of our founding fathers in our government.

Your willingness to place the interests of your country above your own may very well make the difference in this crucial race.

Support J D Hayworth’s campaign to unseat Senator John McCain-Kennedy

It is not wise to let be known you are critical of an incompetent and insecure superior. Not if you value your position.

A president possessing self assurance, a man comfortable in his role as role as commander and chief, who understood the military and the military’s purpose, could have easily risen above the minor indiscretions of General Stanley McChrystal and his aides. A Ronald Regan would have humorously put the incident to rest, and garnered some PR points for his magnanimity.

Surely General McChrystal and his staff knew that Barack Obama is not such a man. But while the media typically focuses on the reality show aspects of General McChrystal and President Obama, an ugly war of attrition, the longest war in our history, plods on in Afghanistan.

A war that should have been won or abandoned long ago. The real questions that need to be answered at this point are if anyone in Washington still understands the purpose of war and what it takes to win one.

One might have thought, hoped, that Gen McChrystal was putting himself on the line for his troops, indirectly issuing a public statement that our forces bogged down in Afghanistan see no commitment to victory, feel they lack support from above and are being misused.

Confusing the US Military with the Peace Corps
Yet reports from some quarters indicate that General McChrystal, lauded by many conservatives as a “warrior general”, himself had endorsed the Bush/Obama politically correct rules of engagement that frequently leave our combat troops at a fatal disadvantage against groups of rag tag guerrillas, armed with carbines and IEDs.

Indeed, the Pentagon’s favored “strategy” for Afghanistan, COIN (for counterinsurgency), is highly touted by General McChrystal. COIN is based upon deploying troops not only to fight the enemy, but to live among the civilian population and helping to form or rebuild the nation’s government. A Peace Corps type of mission requiring another decade or more of commitment. Another decade of body bags returning home.

If anyone can remember, the US righteously invaded Afghanistan on October 7, 2001 with a purpose. To destroy our enemies. Kill or capture Osama Bin Laden and overthrow the Taliban regime providing safe havens to Al Qaeda terrorists.

The Taliban were quickly toppled and no one has been able to locate Bin Laden. Yet nearly nine years later our troops remain in Afghanistan, perpetually in harms way for the sole purpose of propping up a supposedly democratically elected, but completely corrupt and unstable  government. The body count now needlessly exceeds one thousand, and will mount by month as our troops continue to be picked off piecemeal. A national disgrace.

The purpose of war is Victory
Our political leaders, and apparently more than a few Pentagon generals, have clearly lost sight of the purpose of war and the reason for maintaining the finest, bravest, best equipped military in the world. Our men and women serving in Afghanistan hear a great deal about the “sacrifices” expected of them, but never the only word any soldier should be asked to give his or her life for. Victory.

War is an unforgettable horror to be avoided at all reasonable cost. But if unavoidable, there is no such thing as a “civilized war”. Victory is obtained, and casualties minimized, by an unwavering commitment to ruthlessly destroy the enemy’s ability and will to fight.

The last decisive victory for the American Armed Forces was in World War II. President Roosevelt asked the congress for a declaration of war and coordinated efforts with our allies. Military strategy and tactics were left to the commanders in the field. Enemy combatants were ruthless pursued to the point of their death or surrender. Every attempt was made to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. But it was understood that victory, and preservation of our troops, were the primary objectives and that “collateral damage” was just one of the many ugly aspects of war. Nothing was allowed to stand in the way of our ultimate victory over the intrinsic evils of Nazism and the Japanese Empire.

And lacking such resolve there will be no victory in Afghanistan. Further casualties, therefore, are an unwarranted waste of precious lives. More lost spouses, children, brothers, sisters and friends. Our troops should be withdrawn now.

In purely practical terms, America will need these brave men and women in the not so distant future. The Islamic jihadists are ruthlessly committed to victory, not “exit strategies”. Death to America or our submission to Islam. With the indecisiveness and weakness being displayed in the White House, Congress and the Pentagon, they will come at us again.

On that day, God have the mercy to grant us a Churchill in the White House and a Patton in the Pentagon.

From Fox News to OMSNBC, President Obama’s oil spill address to the nation was dismissed as a washout. The nation was looking to the White House for answers on day 57 of America’s greatest environmental disaster. But the president provided no answers on how the oil rig explosion occurred, why the spill hasn’t been contained or how long it is expected to continue.

There was only one perfunctory reference to the mounting crisis itself. “Make no mistake, we will fight this spill with everything we’ve got for as long it takes”. The rest of the address seemed to ramble along with the emptiest of rhetoric. “What has defined us as a nation since our founding is the capacity to shape our destiny, our determination to fight for the America we want for our children. Even if we’re unsure exactly what that looks like, even if we don’t yet precisely know how we’re going to get there, we know we’ll get there.”

Even OMSNBC’s Chris Matthews seemed to lose that tingly feeling Barack Obama usually sends up his leg. “I don’t sense executive command.” But those who didn’t hear anything of substance from the president weren’t listening closely. President Obama clearly announced his intention to manipulate the gulf oil spill in order to continue remaking America in his own image.

My fellow Americans, the BP oil spill has presented me with an opportunity to begin placing energy consumption in our country under strict government control far sooner than I had hoped. And though I understand this will anger some, a massive oil spill from an offshore rig could not have come at a better time.

Among the many wrongs perpetrated by America, which I intended to right as president, is our over consumption of the world’s energy resources. I had hoped to address this injustice by using “global warming” as an excuse to implement punitive energy consumption regulations and taxes under so-called Cap And Trade legislation. Unfortunately global warming has been exposed for what it is, a non-existent climate crisis created by the world wide progressive movement for purposes of acquiring international control over the world’s economies through climate treaties. And thus Cap And Tax now carries a negative connotation. I probably couldn’t get it passed by a high school assembly.

As all of my legislative coups have come about through the creation of artificial crises, I was in need of a new one for energy control. Now “big oil” has provided such an opportunity. The challenge for me has been to turn a leak into a full blown crisis, enabling me to justify ramming some type of “green energy” bill through congress before anyone can read it.

I mean while the capping of a leak at such depths may present challenges, we are still just talking about a leak. With the cooperation and support of the federal government, American innovation and technology could have done something by now. But without the leak, there is no crisis.

And the crisis lies in the horrific damage being done by the massive amounts of oil that continue to spill daily into gulf waters. Hence my persistent refusals to temporarily suspend the Jones Act. The Jones Act prevents my administration from accepting offers of assistance from numerous countries to provide ships with the capabilities to remove spilled oil from the waters of the gulf. My need to escalate a spill into a crisis is why the US Coast Guard actually ordered 16 private barges in Louisiana to cease oil removal operations. My need for crisis is the reason numerous feasible containment and cleanup plans suggested by states, local governments and small businesses been summarily dismissed.

Yes I understand that as the massive oils slicks continue unabated onto the shores of the gulf states, businesses are going under, job losses are mounting and wild life is being cruelly destroyed. But please try to understand that these are simply the eggs I have to break to create my green energy omelet.

I truly believe that only one more month of misery on the Gulf will be necessary to motivate you to demand an end to all offshore oil drilling, seizure of British Petroleum’s assets and immediate passage of an Obama Envirocare Act. This legislation will wean the country from nasty fossil fuels, curb your greedy energy consumption and move America towards a green economy. And I am as confident as a man with no executive or business experience can be that we can figure out what a green economy is when we get there.

Today Iran launched a convoy of ships to confront the Israeli armaments blockade of Gaza. More ships will sail on Friday. Like the Turkish ships intercepted by Israeli Defense Forces on May 31, the Iranian convoy intends to provoke a military response from Israel. The Turkish “peace flotilla”, however, simply hoped to increase international pressure on Israel to end the blockade. The Iranians may be hoping to provoke WWIII.

And whether it comes about as the result of a naval confrontation outside the ports of Gaza, or with an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel, Iran will bring warfare to the world if Barack Obama doesn’t stop messing around with Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The last world war was precipitated by a dictator who threatened “the destruction of the Jewish race in Europe”. No one took Adolph Hitler seriously. Hitler delighted in leading peace appeasers, led by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, in circles as Nazi Germany amassed the military capability to overrun Europe and unleash Hitler’s “Final Solution” upon 6 million Jews. WWII ultimately took the lives of 60 million people.

The free world, traditionally lead by the President Of The United States, has been dithering with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a similar manner for years. Ahmadinejad has repeatedly stated his desire to see Israel “wiped off the map”, and recent reports by the International Atomic Energy Commission (IAEI) indicate that Iran is on the verge of acquiring that capability. And after wiping the “little satan” off the map, who do you think comes next?

Refusing to acknowledge evil
Last week, as Ahmadinejad announced his intention to initiate a naval confrontation with Israel, the UN imposed yet another empty round of trade “sanctions” on Iran, and President Obama gave $400 million to Palestinians who continue to fire rockets into Israel. Like Neville Chamberlain and the peace at any cost appeasers of the 1930s, Barack Obama and the UN refuse to acknowledge evil for what it is and continue to delude themselves that peace can be achieved through negotiations with the devil.

Post WWII, the world learned that Hitler could have been thwarted early on had Britain and France stood up against Germany’s initial acts of aggression in seizing the demilitarized Rhineland and annexing Austria. On both occasions, the German high command had been prepared to turn tail and retreat at the first sign of military resistance. Britain and France’s pacifist acquiescence emboldened Hitler to move on to Czechoslovakia and Poland.

The analogy of Iran’s attempt to break the Israeli armaments blockade to the German forces crossing into the demilitarized Rhineland in 1936 could not be clearer. The pending confrontation presents the free world with a crucial opportunity to face down Iran before Mahmoud Ahmadinejad can provoke an armed conflict with Israel which would surely spread at least through the Middle East.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a despotic religious fanatic who believes he was born to bring about the complete destruction of Israel and initiate a world wide conflagration which will set the stage for the return of the “12th Imam”. He is more blatant about his intentions that Adolph Hitler ever was.

Instead of funneling American tax dollars, that will ultimately end up in the hands of Hamas, into the Palestinian territories, President Obama needs to make a statement by sending US naval forces to reinforce the Israeli armaments blockade. As leader of the free world, Barack Obama needs to summon up a JFK type resolve to draw a line against Iranian aggression and warn Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of the consequences to be suffered by the Iranians should they cross that line.

History will repeat itself
Of course no one expects any such thing. A president who cannot exhibit sufficient leadership to curb a domestic oil spill is an unlikely candidate to to rally the West into facing down the likes of Ahmadinejad. Barack Obama is more likely to emulate Neville Chamberlain and pressure Israel to suspend the blockade so the president can claim to have secured “peace in our time”. Chamberlain’s words after negotiating the 1938 Munich Pact which ceded Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany.

This is an ideal time for would be 2012 presidential candidates to show their mettle and lead the way in calling for the US to stand firm with one of our staunchest allies by reinforcing the Israeli blockade. But don’t expect much. RNC RINOs will be warned by Chairman Michael Steele to avoid looking like “right wing extremists”.

History is on the verge of repeating itself, simply because the US and Europe lack the type of leadership needed at this crucial moment. A Roosevelt or Churchill who has not succumbed to moral relativism and understands that Iran threatens the world not just Israel. Those who pass for “leaders” today would be afraid to say “Evil” if Satan were sitting in their lap.

And that has the devil in Iran smiling.

As primary results from across America began to finalize, OMSNBC, “The Place For Politics”, was quick to change the subject to anything but politics.

With each successive election over the last year - NJ, VA, MA and the numerous primaries - the myth of the politically invincible Barack Obama has steadily continued to crumble. It has become increasingly difficult for Chris Matthews & Co to try to spin sewage into silk on behalf of their beloved leader. At every opportunity the American people have rejected Barack Obama and what he stands for.

In virtually every republican primary yesterday, voters chose the most conservative candidate on the ballot. The Sarah Palin and Tea Party endorsed candidates won the day. OMSNBC attempts to spin on a happy face all generally went along the lines of “Oh yeah, the uh, republicans are, uh, playing right into the president’s lap by putting Palin extremists on the November ballot. We’ll keep congress now”.

Then, as the other news networks delved deeper into the election results, OMSNBC returned to their standard programming - the evils of BP, oil companies and off shore drilling. There’s just not much more NBC’s progressive propaganda machine can do to prop up Barack Obama’s image. America is returning to conservatism.

Democratic egg on the president’s face
The democratic senate primary in Arkansas, however, left the most egg dripping off the president’s face. Moderator Senator Blanche Lincoln had been targeted by the White House and their progressive machine for Lincoln’s refusal to support a public option in the senate version of “heathcare reform” that was eventually foisted upon the American people.

OMSNBC hosts, led by Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow, declared Lincoln history and good riddance. The president needs, and the American people want, true progressives in congress howled Schultz. Half-hearted liberals like Blanche Lincoln had to go. MoveOn.org and Obama union arm SEIU poured money, troops and advertising into progressive Lieutenant Gov Bill Halter’s attempt to unseat Lincoln.

In the end, all the king’s money and clowns went for naught. Senator Blanche Lincoln won her primary battle. Noteworthy was some curiously forthright support for Lincoln from former President Bill Clinton, who may just have someone in mind for a major primary in 2012.

Lincoln’s win is reminiscent of last month’s special election in Pennsylvania to fill deceased pork king Jack Murtha’s congressional seat. Murtha’s former aid Mark Critz narrowly held the seat for democrats by running as a pro-life, pro-gun, pro-capitalist candidate. Everything Barack Obama and progressive liberals despise. Critz was running behind until he ran an ad stating that he opposed the president’s healthcare bill.

That’s how democrats win elections in the Obama era.

Tough times for RINOs
While the president had no horses in the republican primaries, the overwhelming majority of the winners ran campaigns diametrically opposed to President Obama’s policies. RNC establishment backed RINOs have been going down in droves to Palin and Tea Party endorsed candidates.

In the Nevada primary to select a candidate to bring down Obama minion Harry Reid, Tea Party endorsed Sharron Angle overcame RNC backed Sue Lowden. Angle campaigned on reforming (not doing away with as claimed by Rachel Maddow) social security, implementing a flat tax and eliminating the Department Of Education. Amen to all three.

Falling behind, Lowden tried mimicking an OMSNBC talking point, labeling Sharron Angle as too “extreme” (conservative) to win in the general election. Lowden simply hadn’t grasped the mood of the country. The American people aren’t looking for “bipartisanship” with our socialist president. No one is winning primaries by promising to “reach across the aisle” or “work with the president”.

America has seen the other side. Come November, there’ll be no such thing as Too Conservative.

The map depicts the 1947 United Nations’ resolution establishing a Jewish state in the formerly British controlled Palestine Mandate. The stated goal was to partition the territory into two “states”, one Jewish (depicted in light blue) and one Arab (the two dark blue areas).

How difficult was it to foresee that dividing the Arab (”Palestinian” was never specified) “state” into two areas on either side of Israel presented a fundamental flaw in a plan allegedly designed to establish peaceful coexistence between the new Jewish homeland and its Arab neighbors?

This was no oversight. The map was nothing less than a diagram for perpetual conflict.

So ridiculous was this partitioning of the area, that one could easily assume that Israel, in fact, was not meant to survive until the present day. From Israel’s inception, Jews have lived in a perpetual state of military alert. Invaded three times by Arab coalitions, Israeli women and children blown apart by young Arabs goaded into suicide bombing missions, civilians killed by rockets launched from territories Israel was forced into ceding to Islamic militant groups in the name of “peace”.

The invasions, the bombings and rocket attacks, in every case, have all been initiated from within the two areas comprising the 1947 Arab State.

The Palestinian myth
The “Palestinian Homeland” is a myth. Roman Palestine was a geographical designation having no relation to the ethnic makeup of the population, which was in fact primarily Jewish. The same applies to Britain’s Palestine Mandate.

When the UN resolution was put into effect in 1948, Jordan promptly seized the portion of the Arab State now known as the West Bank and Egypt annexed Gaza. No mention was made of Palestine or Palestinians. These areas were used by an Arab coalition to launch the 1967 invasion of Israel (the Six Day War) and fell into Israel’s possession only because Israel was able to win the war and survive as a nation.

After another failed attempt to invade and destroy Israel in 1973, the Arab coalition shifted their focus to guerilla warfare, again using Gaza and the West Bank as launching points for attacks.

The Gaza/West Bank territories were declared, from nothing, to be a “Palestinian State under occupation” by Israel. Arab countries, with the backing of the UN, financed and installed an international terrorist group, the Palestine Liberation Organization, headed by Yasser Arafat, as the new Palestine’s recognized government. From that point forward Israel has endured perpetual terrorist attacks on its borders.

Israel has always demonstrated willingness to agree to UN Resolution 242, which calls for Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank. Israel has agreed to work towards the goal of a “Two State Solution” proposed under the Oslo Accords. The failure of both is the result of Palestinian refusal to minimally acknowledge Israel’s right to exist, end the terrorist attacks, and commit to a lasting peace.

Indeed, throughout this sad violent history it has been the “Arab community” exploiting the Arab population of Gaza and the West Bank, keeping the people in poverty in order to ferment rage against their “occupiers”. Arab nations control massive amount of wealth. If the Arab states were truly concerned over the plight of their Palestinian brothers, they could have easily brokered a peace with a willing Israel and contributed to the construction of a prosperous Palestinian state.

And foreign aid, earmarked for the impoverished Palestinian population, is always siphoned off by those in control of the government. First Arafat’s Fatah and now, in Gaza, Hamas. The hunger, the squalor, the misery, is blamed on the Jews, all for the purpose of bringing about the destruction of Israel.

“Show restraint” means surrender
As Israel struggled to defend the lives of it’s citizens from homicide bombings and rocket attacks, the United Nations has perpetuated the conflict. Instead of working for peace by condemning Arab terrorism in Gaza and the West Bank, the UN continually condemned “both sides for the violence”, demanded that the Israeli government “show restraint” and issued resolutions for Israel to end its occupation of Palestine, ie completely turn these areas on Israel’s borders over to terrorist organizations committed to Israel’s complete destruction.

Israel ceded Gaza to Palestinian control in 2005 and has paid the predictable price. Hamas militants have done nothing to construct a prosperous independent state, instead utilizing Gaza to launch rocket attacks deeper into Israel. In 2007, Hamas overthrew the semi-moderate Fatah government of Mahmud Abbas in Gaza and accelerated the rocket attacks and terrorist border incursions, forcing Israel to set up an armaments blockade of Gaza ports. Ships approaching the blockade are inspected, and those not attempting to smuggle arms into to Gaza are permitted to pass through and dock.

Arab nations and Hamas supporters, likely headed by Iran, are now determined to end this blockade and resume pouring rockets and weapons into Gaza. To this end, “peace flotillas”, such as the Turkish ship intercepted by Israeli commandos on Monday, are attempting to break the blockade under the guise of bringing “humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Gaza”. These missions are designed to provoke military responses from Israel and increase international pressure on Israel to end the blockade.

This would, of course, leave Israel once again under continuous assault by both sides of the Arab State.

In the 1947 aftermath of the Holocaust, the United Nations felt compelled to establish a Jewish homeland. But a Jewish State, based upon Biblical Israel, was the last thing many member nations of the UN wanted. So beginning with its map, Israel was designed to fail.

Yet Israel has, to this point, prevailed. Defeating invasions and curtailing terrorist attacks that virtually every country in the world would have considered grounds for full scale wars of attrition, the Jewish people of Israel have shown the world nothing but an incredible desire to simply live in peace.

But a soon to be nuclear Iran, the increasingly anti-Semitic hostility of the UN and the Arab appeasement policies of the Obama administration forebode an ominous change in the balance of power which clearly threatens Israel’s existence. The “peace flotillas”, insignificant as they may seem, must be regarded by Israel as the possible opening salvo of a conflict that could end in the “one state solution” the UN hoped to bring about when it drew up that map of perpetual conflict in 1947.

“I was offered a job. I answered that”.

Why is Joe Sestak blabbing? Twice on Sunday - on Meet The Press and Face The Nation - democratic Congressman Sestak reaffirmed his contention that the White House offered him a prominent job to withdraw from last week’s Pennsylvania democratic senate primary in an attempt save republican turncoat Arlen Specter’s pathetic hide. An out and out bribe.

Such an offer would be in violation of at least two federal laws. So how can democrat Sestak be so devil may care about implicating his president in a possible corruption scandal? And why is Sestak so insistent on then refusing to name the job offered?

The whole scenario may indicate serious resentment on the part of some congressional democrats over the baggage their leader has saddled them with. Enough may have finally become enough.

The job in question is reputed to be Secretary Of The Navy. The perfect job offer, it would seem, to a retired admiral. And the offer of a position at that level would require the consent of the president.

Sestak’s tract here seems to follow that of a homicide detective or district attorney. He apparently wants to corner the “perp” into making a statement. Lock the suspect into a story which can be examined in detail and proved to be a lie during further interrogation.

By leaving open the question of what job the “White House” offered him, Sestak knows that the media will continue to press the White House to either deny an offer was ever made, or to state which job was on the table. And once committed, the White House will have to live, or more likely die, with the story.

Enough is Enough
There are congressional democrats who no doubt have been well compensated to take the fall in November for backing President Obama’s destructive socialist agenda. But the salary, the healthcare and retirement benefits most Americans can only dream of, the power, the influence, and the connections will not be joyfully relinquished by most democrats. Certainly not Joe Sestak. Sestak is planning on moving up the ladder to the US Senate and he apparently does want the likes of Barack Obama continuing to saw away at the rungs.

Exuding his typical arrogance, the president is forging ahead with Cap And Trade, Amnesty for illegal aliens, and a Value Added (national sales) Tax. A literal kamikaze strategy for democrats in November.

Tying up the “White House” with a bribery scandal, which could potentially involve impeachment proceedings, would limit the damage President Hope And Change can “accomplish” between now and November. Time gained for democratic candidates to repair their images back home.

And much of the media, which so carefully covered for Barack Obama during his campaign and first year in office, will be carrying a different tone as the Sestak story unfolds. The president has refused to hold a press conference since February, avoiding formal questioning on the passage of Obamacare, the growing nuclear threat in Iran, the administration’s alienation of Israel, the Elena Kagan nomination and the BP oil leak fiasco. And White House leaks seemingly abound over Mr Obama’s dislike of having to respond spontaneously to questions from the press.

The media does not like to be ignored, and rightly feels Barack Obama owes them big time. Mr Obama may be very foolish in making it clear he thinks otherwise.

It is already too late for the “White House” to deny making Sestak the offer. If untrue, it would have been denied two months ago. Sooner or later, President Obama will have to make that statement which will lock him into a story that will be torn apart and put back together by a special prosecutor until a demonstrable falsehood turns up.

And if President Barack Obama falls, it will be due, in large part, to his own arrogance. Arrogance in the blatancy of his attempt to bribe Congressman Sestak, the arrogance with which he has treated members of his own party, his arrogance towards the media that made him.

The state of Arizona is under siege. War has been declared by the President Of The United States and his coalition allies Mexico, Cuba, Communist China, La Raza (”The Race”), distinguished professors and professoressas of Chicano and Chicana Studies across America, and “Los Suns” bandito leader Al Sharpton. Negotiations with Venezuela are said to be in progress.

A formidable, though for the most part disreputable, alliance for one measly state to face up to. But it had to be done. One strong  governor, one determined state legislature had to summon the courage to stand up on behalf of the American people and begin enforcing America’s immigration laws.

And despite the demagoguery, slander, misrepresentations and outright lies directed against Governor Jan Brewer and the Arizona State Legislature, Arizona deservedly has the support of a wide majority of the American people who understand that Arizona is doing nothing less than defending the nation.

Illegal immigration has been the most critical issue facing America for the last two decades, because illegal immigration directly impacts virtually every other major issue. The economy, jobs, health care, education, crime and national security have all suffered the deleterious effects of millions of people intentionally allowed to enter our country illegally.

In years of polling, 75 - 80% of Americans have expressed their demand that the federal government fulfill its most basic of obligations by protecting our country’s borders and citizens. A responsibility abrogated by Washington under an Open Border/Amnesty Cabal led by Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama, in collaboration with the worst elements of both parties in Congress. Democrats and republican somehow managed to find bipartisanship in their conspiracy to keep America’s border with Mexico wide open hoping to exploit the illegal flood to their benefit.

The 800 pound illegal gorilla
In 2008, candidates Obama and McCain, by mutual agreement, pointedly ignored the 800 pound illegal immigration gorilla. An unfettered gorilla that has murdered, manslaughtered, raped and robbed American citizens, gorged on American blue collar jobs and broken the backs of health care systems, schools and social service agencies in border states.

In response to questions over the reasoning behind Arizona’s new anti-illegal immigration measure, a county sheriff said “Assaults against police officers, officer-involved shootings, home invasions, carjackings, violent crimes, and you ask: Why is that? We can clearly point to the flow of illegal immigrants.”

And the greatest of the many evil by products of America’s suicidal open border policy is the obvious threat to national security. During the years since September 11, along with the drug dealers, human traffickers, rapists, armed robbers and burglars who mix in with the honest illegals just looking for work, Islamic terrorists have, without doubt, arrived in our country. Jihadists walking across our border, even as over four thousand American men and women in uniform were dying in Iraq and Afghanistan in the name of “national security”.

Numerous scenarios can be constructed by which America could be virtually placed under siege, caught in a vice between a nuclear Iran and the jihadists now residing in our country courtesy of the illegal immigration profiteers of the Open Border/Amnesty Cabal in Washington.

Arizona for the defense
Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration legislation virtually mimics the federal immigration laws that have been suspended by “gentlemen’s agreement” for these last 20 years. This measure was passed in defense of Arizona’s citizens, who have suffered terribly at the hands of the illegal flood, and on behalf of the American people in general.

The people of Arizona are in tune with the vast of majority of Americans on the subject of illegal immigration. Yet war, as we said, has been declared against Arizona by the Obama administration and the government of Mexico. The following video was excerpted from today’s joint session of congress.
