President Obama Funds Embryonic Stem Cell Research

America’s Tax Dollars Perpetuate The Cruel Deception & Waste

embryoWith utter disregard for over 30 years of scientific research, compassion for the afflicted, America’s disintegrating economy and human life itself, President Obama signed an executive order restoring federal funding to the futile black hole of embryonic stem cell research.

As we will document, yet again (see Stem Cell “Research And Cures” and President Bush Vetoes Stem Cell Flim Flam), research involving adult stem cells has led to the development of 80 promising treatments for a wide variety of illnesses, disabilities and injuries. Over 30 years of embryonic stem cell research, which requires the destruction of a living human embryo, has not produced a single breakthrough. Not one.

One could ask why our president would waste precious tax dollars, especially in a time of economic crisis, to fund research that is clearly going nowhere. But everyone knows why- Mr Obama’s campaign debt to Abortion Incorporated.

The predictable lofty rhetoric used to characterize the charade was nothing more than Ab Inc’s well worn stem cell film flam, used to deceitfully manipulate public opinion, and even worse, thousands of people desperately praying for a scientific miracle. Dutifully reciting out of the handbook, the president virtually laid the existence of every human suffering at the feet of heartless, right wing religious fanatics opposed to this noble endeavor.

This flies in face of the well established facts. But just in case President Obama is merely uninformed (come on now, even he can’t be an expert on everything), let’s layout those facts for him, including some important developments since we last visited this issue.

Stem cell basics
Stem cell research has been conducted, around the world, for over thirty years. There are two types of stem cell research- adult and embryonic. Adult stem cells can be obtained from a wide variety of human sources, including simple nasal mucous. The function of adult stem cells is to aid in rebuilding damaged cells, tissues and organs in the human body.

Embryonic stem cells can be derived from only one source, a living human embryo, which must be killed for purposes of the research. The function of embryonic stem cells is to develop new cells, tissues and organs during the fetal development of a completely new human being.

It is the difference in the functional purposes of the two different types of stem cells that make adult stem cells obviously more suitable for potential treatment of human disease, disability and injury. And 30 some years of research has verified that obvious conclusion.

Adult stem cell successes
Adult stem cells have been successfully utilized in treatments of, or new therapies for, 80 specific types of disease, disabilities and permanent injuries. These include cancers, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, brain damage due to trauma or stroke, spinal injuries, and regeneration of various types of tissue and cartilage.

These 80 successful treatments and therapies reflect an 11% increase since 2007, an indication of the constantly expanding potential of adult stem cell research.

The futility of embryonic stem cell research
The millions of non-federally funded dollars expended in embryonic stem cell research, over the same period, have not produced a single breakthrough. In stunning contrast to the two year, 11% increase of successful adult stem cell therapies, it could be said that embryonic stem cell research has had a two year negative- lower than zero -success rate.

This negative factor is the result of tumors developing in virtually all cases where embryonic stem cells have been used on human subjects. Human subjects also must be injected with immune system suppressants, due to commonplace tissue rejection of embryonic stem cells. Suppression of the body’s immune system, of course, leads to additional complications and dangers.

In one case, embryonic stem cells being used to treat a head injury patient began to develop new bone, teeth and hair inside the patient’s head. Something a junior high biology student could probably predict, because that is what embryonic stem cells think they are supposed to do.

All in all, the human body itself literally speaks out against the use of embryonic stem cells for purposes for which they are not intended.

Propaganda and cruel deception to justify the waste- to what purpose?
obama-planned-parenthoodYet completely ignoring these established research results, President Obama not only initiated tax payer funding of the black hole of embryonic stem cell research. He also revoked a 2007 executive order that encouraged the National Institutes of Health to intensify research of successful adult stem cell treatments and therapies.

Mr Obama justified this flagrant waste by holding out false hope to those thousands of desperate people, who possibly could be helped by the intensified adult stem cell research he obliterated with a pompous stroke of his pen. His factual falsehoods were typically peppered with degrading remarks directed toward anyone who may dare to voice opposition.

The president claimed “that the potential it offers is great”. Oh really? He then piously declared an end to “a false choice between sound science and moral values” and claimed, with a straight face, that his executive order was “about ensuring that scientific data is never distorted or concealed to serve a political agenda and that we make scientific decisions based on facts, not ideology.”

The “moral values” and “ideology” he disparages must be allocation of resources where there is the greatest potential for success.

All religious viewpoints aside, the heartlessness of this transparent charade was sickening. Pure Abortion Incorporated flim flam. But to what purpose?

The Abortion Incorporated  embryonic stem cell agenda
President Obama’s executive order was issued to meet both short and long term goals for his masters at Abortion Incorporated. The short term goal is clearly to reinforce the abortion industry’s classification of a human embryo as a meaningless blob of tissue, which can be disposed of, or destroyed for purposes of experimentation, without regard to conscience.

The long term goal is a profitable “new frontier” for Abortion Incorporated in which human embryos are cloned (1) for research purposes and (2) partially developed to provide “spare parts”.

Yes, it’s on the horizon, and this is the real reason Ab Inc wants access to human embryos. Embryos will be genetically altered to limit brain growth and development. These embryos will be cloned and partially developed into human vegetable fetuses, which will be used to supply replacement organs and limbs- at tremendous profit.

The president specially denied that his executive order would lead to human cloning. But this is more of his Clintonese. The embryos will be cloned, just not allowed to grow into complete human beings. Clever, isn’t he?

What it’s really all about
Further undermining the fallacious premises for embryonic stem cell research are recent breakthroughs which are enabling researchers to create cells that are biologically equivalent to embryonic stem cells. These cells do not seem to carry the same potential risk for adverse side affects as true embryonic stem cells.

So what need is there for the use of embryonic stems cells? None. Except the wanton destruction of a human embryo. To President Barack Obama, and his benefactors in Abortion Incorporated, it’s the principle that’s important.
