Will pro-life Muslims simply overrun the Christian West?
Dr Michael Savage, PHD, seems to be the 800 pound independent conservative talk show host the talk radio industry pretends doesn’t exist. Many will point to Savage’s often harsh characterizations of other big name talk personalities. And during his occasional binges of megalomania, a little Savage can go a long way.
But at his best, Michael Savage’s insight, on almost any topic, is profound beyond anyone else’s analysis. During a monologue last week on the spread of Islam, Savage wondered if God really cares which religion ultimately triumphs? Comparing Christianity, Judaism and Islam to branches of the same corporation, Savage wonders if God really prefers one to another.
As believers in Christ, we know the answer. Or do we?
Michael Savage is Jewish. Some of his finest moments on the radio arise from relating Old Testament scripture to the modern age. Savage’s analogies can make passages from Deuteronomy or Jeremiah sound as though they were written for 2010. But Doctor Savage is also one of the staunchest defenders of Christianity in talk radio, especially of the beleaguered Catholic Church.
Ardently pro-life, Michael Savage will literally go out of his way to avoid taking the life of an insect. How, Savage asked, does God looks upon the Christians and Jews of the West who participate in, or tolerate, the murder by abortion of millions of His children?
Islam, Dr Savage points out, is fervently pro-life and Muslim birthrates around the world are far outpacing those of Christians and Jews. Will Islam eventually triumph on earth simply because Muslims are faithfully pro-life?
Savage’s conclusion was that God likely does not care which religion ultimately prevails. We are all God’s children.
Outlandish, almost blasphemous, at first thought for we who believe that Christ’s Church is to triumph. But could we ultimately negate the gift of Christianity through our continued lack of respect for God’s greatest gift of life?
Countless human beings, for all the generations to come (those aborted and those would have descended from them), have been lost to the abortion mills. Quite a choice. How long can we expect Almighty God to tolerant the effrontery of abortion? Will His answer simply be to allow those who embrace and/or tolerate the slaughter of His innocents to be overrun by another religion?
No one here is preaching Islam. Jesus is the one and only Son Of God. But if the liberal Christians and Jews of the West continue to shun the gift of children through abortion and contraception, within a century Muslims will become the dominant population in the world. And Islam the dominant religion.
When Jesus comes again in glory, as we know He will, will there be any Christians left to welcome Him?
Christians come home on Life.

Thought provoking, but to me “no Christians” left contradicts scripture

I’ve thought about this for a couple of days, and this may be God’s justice. It would happen well after my time, but, yes, many Christians are indifferent to all types of evil. Abortion and radical Islam being two major evils
If we don’t want children, the world will naturally become populated by those who do. Common sense
And if Muslims should begin to takeover other countries by sheer numbers alone, it will not be a pretty time of those who refuse to convert.
And as in Old Testament times, the righteous will be punished with the guilty

Hi! Have you people heard Dr. Robert Spencer speaking on EWTN? I am anti-muslim for many very good reasons. Just two now for you to think about. Firstly, they have a completely different concept of God; to them he is all-avenging; there is no concept here of mercy; God administers justice remorselessly.Secondly, all persons are ranked: firstly, muslim men; 2. men of other races and countries; thirdly boys; fourthly muslim women and so on down the line and lastly, foreign and arab women. These concepts are ingrained into them are are non-negotiable. Of ourse I am not mentioning that mohammed had several wives and many chiodren and his youngest bridee was 9 years old, according to Dr Spencer, who speaks and reads Arabic and has actually read the various versions of the koran. Christ is the only Way, the Truth and the Life and lets not be fooled!

OK. Let’s also not oversimplify. Previous comments are just that. It is much easier to discuss something which is reduced to its bare bones. Religion is a very complex phenomenon and issues can’t be too simplified or the point under discussion becomes too vague. Dr Savage is doing just that, reducing all religions to a commonality. This is logically wrong. We must continue to pray for the abolition of abortion.
