Protecting the “least of our these brothers of Mine”
March 31st commemorates the 6th anniversary of the death of Terry Schindler.
We do not use Terri’s married name Schiavo. It was her husband, Michael Schiavo, who fought in the courts to have Terri’s feeding tube removed and have her starved and dehydrated to death.
And despite Michael Schiavo’s claim that Terri died a painless, dignified death, it took seven agonizing days for Terri to die in this manner. Terri’s parents were forced to stand by helplessly as armed guards kept anyone from even giving Terri cracked ice to ease her blistered lips.
Terri Schindler was in fact tortured to death by court order. Starvation and dehydration can be nothing less than torture. Where were the horrified opponents of water boarding in 2005?

SD bill will reduce abortions and protect vulnerable women
In 2008, tip toeing through the landmines that could implode his carefully packaged candidacy, Barack Obama insisted that though he was pro-choice, his goal was “to reduce the number abortions”. As president, Mr Obama has instead proved to be one of the most rabid pro-abortion zealots to hold any public office.
“Reduce the number” is among abortion supporters’ favorite scams. And many pro-choice Christians rely on this platitude to justify their support of liberal politicians who enable the abortion of more than one million children each year.
The whole charade crumbles, of course, when someone actually does try to reduce the number of babies being aborted. Which we saw again this week when SD Governor Dennis Daugaard signed into law a bill crafted to do just that.

America’s young women sacrificed to the cause
The following video released by CatholicVote.org was filmed at a Support Planned Parenthood rally. The release was accompanied by a warning that the language of the PP demonstrators was “shocking”.
The clip is indeed ripe with profanity, and several young women openly boast of having had abortions. So much so that it is possible that they were mugging for the cameras – trying to be outrageous for shock value.
But even if that were the case, what truly disturbs is the age of the mostly female demonstrators – early twenties and younger – and the utter callousness they display for helpless life. These young women have obviously been embittered by the indoctrination of radical feminism.
The day will come, however, for some of these women who abort their children, when they will suffer from the scars of feminism, ravaged by guilt, shame and despair. And their feminist mentors could care less. Sacrifices to the cause.

40 Days For Life Campaign Spring 2011

We were meant to live during this time
Anyone interested in saving 400 babies from the vacuums, surgical shears and poisons of America’s abortion mills over the next 7 weeks? How about inspiring 5 abortion clinic employees to walk out on their jobs? Or having an instrumental part in the permanent closing of one abortion clinic? All without even having to raise your voice above a prayer?
That is the magnitude of the opportunity to impact the pro-live cause offered by this Spring’s 40 Day’s For Life Campaign. On average, those are the victories achieved by each of the semi-annual 40 Day Campaigns.
But the true beauty of the 40 Days prayer based campaigns is that everyone can participate no matter where you live. While not everyone will be able to participate in prayer vigils before clinics, every Christian can personally commit to prayer and some type of fasting to end the scourge of abortion plaguing our nation.

Planned Parenthood reaping the benefits of their man in the White House
Over the past two years, pro-life activist Lila Rose of LiveAction.org has compiled irrefutable video evidence of criminal complicity on the part of Planned Parenthood staff members, throughout America, aiding and abetting statutory rape and sexual trafficking of girls 15 and younger.
In our post Planned Parenthood Charges Against DA Backfire, we detailed new evidence of Planned Parenthood violating Kansas statutory rape laws by failing to report at least dozens of abortions performed on girls 14 years-old and younger in one county alone.
Planned Parenthood cites a few bad apples. It’s just a coincidence that those apples seem to sitting there whenever Lila Rose walks into a PP office undercover.
Who could be so beholding to the abortion industry that he/she would have to pretend to believe such and explanation in face of overwhelming and irrefutable evidence to the contrary?
