40 days of spiritual warfare to overcome the intrinsic evil of abortion
The 40 Days For Life Campaign Fall 2011 runs from September 28 through November 6. Three hundred and one cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, South America and Europe will be formally participating, but the true beauty of the 40 Days prayer based campaigns is that everyone can participate.
The 40 Days campaigns conduct a three pronged spiritual approach to overcoming the evil of abortion through prayer, fasting and constant prayer vigils before abortion clinics. While not everyone will be able to participate in prayer vigils, every Christian can personally commit to prayer and some type of fasting.
Since 2007, the 40 Days For Life campaigns have been directly responsible for saving 4,313 babies from abortion, the closing of 14 abortion clinics, and inspiring 53 abortion clinic workers to quit their jobs.
Each campaign undoubtedly also achieves many unrecorded successes across America. Women contemplating abortion suddenly reconsider the horrible ramifications of the “choice” they were about to make. Despondent women somehow receive the joy of hope and realize that they are not alone and have numerous ways to choose life for their babies.

All Christianity is called upon to join these powerful 40 Days For Life Campaigns. Check the list of 301 targeted cities and contact the local 40 Days For Life Leadership Team to participate in prayer vigils and community outreach programs.
Those living outside these areas can participate by praying the 40 Days For Life Daily Devotionals throughout the campaign.
Prayer is our most powerful weapon in the struggle to end abortion. The abortion industry spends millions of dollars annually funding pro-abortion organizations and financing the campaigns of pro-abortion government officials. Yet the grass roots pro-life community is slowly, but inexorably, winning the battle. And the only possible explanation is the power of Almighty God, invoked through prayer.
We encourage everyone to download the Daily Devotionals for the fall campaign. Each Devotion consists of an Intention, a Scripture Passage, a Reflection and a Prayer composed by a clerical or lay member of the 40 Days Leadership Team.
Only God knows how many vigil volunteers, how much fasting or how many personal prayers are required to save one more baby from dismemberment, decapitation or poisoning in a abortion clinic.
