Chicago pro-life warriors endure the elements, physical strain, the opposition – And Save Lives
Following up on our post Chicago Area Face The Truth On Abortion Tour 2012 post, we want to focus on the men, women, and teens who give themselves to God’s work bringing the pro-life message and the horrible realities of “choice” to the people of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
These members of the Pro-Life Action League stand for hours in the sun displaying pictures of abortion victims. Aside from the heat and the physical strain, they expose themselves to taunts, obscenities and occasional threats. But they save lives, as such demonstrations invariably do.
On a previous Face The Truth Tour, 22 women decided to cancel their abortions simply because they had never seen or understood what actually happens to a baby during an abortion until they saw the Truth Tour posters. That’s 22 children alive today.
The following video sequences filmed during the 4th day of the 2011 Tour will give you a chance meet some true warriors for God manning the trenches of the pro-life movement.
The faces of the Face The Truth Tour are the faces of pro-life activists across America. And the elderly man with the cowboy hat in the video spoke eloquently on their behalf.
“Abortion is ugly. It is killing of a child. A lot of people really don’t know what abortion is. We have to show visually what is happening in this country. 3,500 times every day, we kill an innocent child. This is gonna destroy the country. We are trying as good citizens and as patriots, we’re trying to tell people the truth”
If you live in the Chicago area, the Pro-Life Action League needs your support. For the rest of us around the country, we can all keep them in our prayers throughout the 2012 Face The Truth Tour which will run to July 14.
