Randall Terry, former head of the pro-life activist group Operation Rescue, is running for president as a democrat! And in doing so, candidate Terry is entitled to run a graphic anti-abortion political ad during the Super Bowl.

If anyone remembers, the Tebow family ran a pro-life ad during the 2010 Super Bowl which drew storms of protests from liberals. CBS reluctantly approved the ad which was really quite mild.

Well Randall did some research and learned that networks must accept, and run uncensored, any ads submitted by candidates for federal office during the 45 days preceding a primary election. Over the last year, Randall apparently has met whatever the necessary requirements are to run for president and raised enough money to air the following ad in 35 small markets during this year’s Super Bowl on NBC. And though these are considered small media markets, the ad will reach 35 million viewers.

The ad depicts graphic pictures of the remains of aborted babies, never to be born children who were the victims of the “choice” so many Christians support as a “right”. While the ad’s content seems overly harsh for the Super Bowl venue, and the rhetoric is not our style, there is no denying the simple truth that Christians who vote for the politicians who enable abortion in our country do aid and abet the merciless barbarities that take place every day in America’s abortion clinics.

At least two other pro-life activists have taken up on this idea. Former registered nurse Angela Michael is running unopposed as a democrat in Illinois’ 15th Congressional district. Angela’s ad is similar to Terry’s and can be seen on her campaign website Angela Michael For Congress.

David Lewis is running as a republican against Speaker Of The House John Boehner in Ohio’s 8th district. David’s ad attacks the Speaker for his  failure to end federal funding to Planned Parenthood and can be seen at David Lewis For Congress. Frankly we disagree with David Lewis’ contention, as we detailed last April in Credit Boehner A Partial Victory vs Planned Parenthood.

Though we may disagree somewhat with the approach of these three ads, Randall Terry, Angela Michael and David Lewis have worked long and hard to be able to air the pro-life message on the truth of abortion during America’s most highly viewed television extravaganza of the year.

At least some hearts will be opened, some minds will be changed. And undoubtedly at least one person (and hopefully many more) will be watching the Super Bowl in 2032 who would have otherwise lost his or her life in an abortion mill if not for Randall, Angela and David.

And that is what the pro-life movement is all about.

“Right to choose” is the euphemism used to cloak abortion as a women’s rights and political issue. But for anyone willing to look closely, that cloak is glaringly transparent.

While many good people have been misled on the truth of abortion, many pro-choice Christians are only too willing to use the cloak to shield themselves from the truth. Hearts closed by political ideology, they refuse to follow “choice” to it’s logical conclusion – the right to choose what?

There is nothing political or academic about the answer. A Registered Nurse, who early in her career witnessed an abortion, described her experience to us.

Maria was shortly out of Nursing School and working in a Florida hospital. Ordered to take a shift in Obstetrics, she looked forward to prepping mothers and aiding in deliveries. The doctor she was assigned to told her that instead she would be assisting in an abortion. Maria wondered if the abortion was some type of emergency.

No emergency. The doctor dismissed the procedure as a routine elective D & X. Maria wasn’t familiar with the term, but found the doctor’s nonchalance over performing an abortion unsettling.

D & X stands for Dilation And Extraction Abortion, a procedure generally used for third term abortions. Maria had pictured abortion as described by feminists and the abortion industry – the disposal of a tissue mass. When she saw a woman easily in her sixth month reclining on the table, feet in stirrups, her heart began to sink.

The woman had already been dilated (cervix and birth canal expanded). The doctor came to the table and Maria watched as the doctor reached in and grabbed a small but fully formed baby and rotated it until the child was face down in his left hand.

The baby made an audible noise and grasped the doctor’s finger in its tiny hand. Maria was horrified and froze when the doctor asked for a scalpel. Another nurse provided the scalpel which the doctor used to pierce the soft tissue at the base of the baby’s skull. Maria could not remember if the baby cried out. The incision was expanded and a vacuum tube was inserted to extract the baby’s brain in order to collapse the skull and begin extracting the body.

The doctor had to remove the baby’s clenched hand from his finger before he severed the arm to further facilitate extraction.

Maria left the room and quit her job on the spot.

Based upon this experience, Maria made a commitment to God to spend her career as a nurse prolonging life. She specialized in Oncology, dedicating herself to caring for cancer patients in another hospital in a different city.

Maria is not the nurse’s real name, she understandably fears professional repercussions and personal harassment. But she asks Christians who maintain a pro-choice or neutral position on abortion to reflect upon the implications of dismissing abortion as just another “choice”.

Maria likened her experience as to being in a “butcher shop”. “People need to face the truth about so-called ‘choice’. They need to go to one of these clinics and see exactly what it is they are so proud of supporting.”

Here is Father Frank Pavone demonstrating the type of procedure Maria witnessed. This is the “choice” Christians enable when they support the pro-abortion politicians who enable abortion in America.

Pro-choice brothers and sisters, in reading Maria’s testimony and watching Father Frank demonstrate the procedure she witnessed, you cannot in your hearts believe that Almighty God is indifferent to what happens daily in America’s abortion clinics.

He is waiting on His people to act in His name to end the merciless inhumanity that “choice” perpetrates on our helpless pre-born brothers and sisters in Christ. Come home to Him on life.

Life is often referred to as the “miracle” of life.

The term miracle is generally used to refer to a Divine occurrence – something than could only be accomplished by the hand of God. And as technological advances continue to reveal the incredible complexities involved in the development of a human being from conception to birth, it is becoming difficult to use any other word than “miracle” – by the hand of God – to describe the process.

Alexander Tsiaras, Chief of Scientific Visualization in the department of Medicine at Yale University, has come to that conclusion after using micro-magnetic resonance imaging to document the development of a baby from fertilized egg to birth.

In this video of the process, Mr Tsiaras indeed looks and sounds like an overwhelmed first time parent when he exclaims that “It’s a mystery, it’s magic, it’s divinity”.

Alexander Tsiaras has been utilizing new visualization technologies to detail the human body. This video was created using 3D photography, detailed down to cell level, coupled with MRI, CT and electron microscope scans.

In discussing the project Tsiaras says that “when you actually start working on this data, its pretty spectacular”. That almost seems a bit of an understatement. The video documents the sperm cell penetrating the egg. From there we witness cellular division progress from the rate of every 12 – 15 hours to one million cells per second.

This creation of a human being from two simple cells Mr Tsiaras refers to as “unbelievable machinery”, the “magic of you and me”.

“The magic of the mechanisms inside each genetic structure saying exactly where that nerve cell should go — the complexities of these — the mathematical models on how these things are indeed done are beyond human comprehension, even though I am a mathematician.”

In the end, Alexander Tsiaras could only conclude that fetal development is “so perfectly organized a structure that it was hard not to attribute divinity to it.”

Who, then, are we to destroy it?

One of RadiantCross.org’s fundamental goals is to “Bring Christians Home On Abortion”.

Millions of self-described pro-choice Christians are not hard-core supporters of abortion. Many have simply been misled by liberalism on the truth of abortion – that abortion is merely a political issue, something akin to taxes and spending, or is just “none of my business”. We want to “bring home” as many of those Christians as possible by properly framing abortion as a spiritual and moral issue which goes directly to the heart of our personal relationships with God.

With 80% of Americans describing themselves as Christian, that is the key to ending abortion in America.

Todd Bullis’ Church Project is trying to do just that by working to awaken fellow Christians in the Ventura, CA area to the inherent evils and horrible realities of abortion.

The group tries to engage pastors of local church congregations that do not have a pro-life ministry. There are many such congregations, good Christian people who love Jesus, but yet worship week after week choosing to ignore the merciless slaughter of God’s unborn children in America’s abortion clinics.

In some cases Todd’s group will hold vigils outside of churches, displaying graphic pictures of abortion victims in order to stir Christian consciences and drive home the fundamental truth that no true believer in Christ can possibly reconcile such inhumanity with the love and compassion of Jesus.

The following video was taken at a recent vigil near the Reality Church in Carpinteria, CA. The congregation members who harass Todd and attempt to remove or destroy his signs are typical of Christians who willfully choose to turn a blind eye to the modern era’s massacre of the innocents.

These Reality Church members apparently shield themselves from the ugly truth of abortion, and how God must view the mangled bodies of aborted infants shown in Todd’s posters, by deluding themselves that God is somehow indifferent to the killing of His unborn children.

Todd: We’re Christians

RC member: No, you’re not!

Then there’s the classic programmed liberal who keeps parroting “You’re not about Jesus, dude. You’re about politics”

And, of course, someone had to cry “You’re judging us”

But as Todd said to the Reality Church members, in looking for help to overcome evil, he had come to what should be the most obvious place – “a good Christian Church”.

And there is no doubt that if Todd had brought an abandoned baby or a starving homeless man to the doors of Reality Church, the members of the congregation would have done everything in their power to help the “least of their brethren” exactly as Jesus bid us to do.

But when Todd came looking for good Christians to help defend the most helpless of our brothers and sisters in Christ, mercilessly dismembered, decapitated and poisoned daily in the abortion of clinics of America, he was turned away.

And that is our challenge – to open the hearts and minds of Christians who have thoughtlessly taken a pro-choice or neutral position on abortion. To awaken them to the truth that God is the loving Father of us all from the moment of conception, and that what happens during an abortion grieves Him as our Father, and is certainly an affront to Him as our Creator.

We salute Todd and his fellow activists and hope to learn more about their work.

You get the message, right? God is just fine with abortion.

Ms Richard’s 5 smiling pals of the cloth are the members of Planned Parenthood’s “Clerical Advisory Board” which was created for one purpose – to deceive.

No problem for the smiling 5. Deception is the essence of pro-abortion theology which abandons the tenets of the Bible, such as “Thou Shalt Not Kill”, to answer the call of a higher power – the religion of liberalism.

The problem for pro-choice clergy is that they are generally only able to mislead those who want to be misled, i.e. other liberals who want to be told by anyone with a religious title that God really is just fine with abortion. But how much good does reassuring the already converted do for Planned Parenthood? What Ms Richards really wants from her clerics are the souls of Evangelicals, faithful Catholics and Orthodox Jews.

Rev Vincent Lachina, third from the right, set out to do just that during a recent trip to Mississippi. Rev Lachina posed as an Evangelical Southern Baptist minister when he spoke against a November ballot initiative supporting Personhood at conception. The Rev might have had a better shot at impersonating Moses as seen in the following video where he was quickly unmasked by (who else?) Lila Rose’s LiveAction.org.

Reverend Lachina, as shown in Live Action’s story, does not even attend a Southern Baptist church and is actually associated with the progressive American Baptist Conference and the United Church Of Christ. But as we said, deception is the staple of pro-choice clergy. Some times it works, some times it doesn’t. And if God is fine with abortion, what could He care about lying?

Twisting the scriptures in order to pretend the tenets of the Bible are in accordance with one’s political philosophy has been going on for 2,000 years. Everything and anything can be justified by contortionist thinking and rationalization. But justification for what goes on in America’s abortion clinics is found only in the religion of liberalism, not Christianity.

And as Christians we are all responsible for our own souls and the well being of our brothers and sisters in Christ, born and unborn. Jesus warned of clerics who seek to deceive us when He said “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees”.

And it’s easy to spot Pharisees and Sadducees these days. They’re preaching the gospel of choice and mugging for the camera with Cecile Richards.

This is a wake for a baby girl.

The victim of a late term abortion, pro-life activists from Operation Save America recovered the girl’s mangled body from the biohazard dumpster of an Orlando, FL abortion clinic and named her Esther.

Esther was killed when an abortionist pierced the soft tissue area at the back of her skull with a pair of surgical shears, expanded the shears to open the wound, and inserted a vacuum tube which then sucked out Esther’s brain.

Ultra-sounds of abortions show that at 20 – 24 weeks of development Esther undoubtedly struggled in fear as the abortionist manipulated her body in what should have been the safe haven of her mother. Esther endured all of the excruciating pain of any human being killed in such a merciless, barbaric procedure.

A sociopath caught killing puppies in this manner would be lynched by a mob as the police looked the other way.

But this is a standard abortion procedure which takes place every day in America. And looking down into the inhumanity portrayed in that coffin we have to wonder What Must God Think Of Us as a nation.

Father Frank Pavone of Priests For Life gave the eulogy for Esther.

“We are here because this baby was killed in the darkness, and we come to honor her in the bright light of day. The abortion industry wants to hide the violence done to these children, but we must be committed to expose it. Therefore we need to hold many more of these services, with tens of thousands of people looking at these children and recommitting themselves to end abortion.”

Each day over three thousand baby girls and boys are killed in the darkness of America’s abortion clinics. Dismembered, decapitated, or poisoned. And every day someone like Rachel Maddow or a member of NOW euphemizes these inhumanities as “completely safe, legal medical procedures.”

Here Father Frank demonstrates, Dilation And Extraction Abortion, the procedure by which Esther died. In the background you will hear renowned abortionist Dr Martin Haskell as he describes the technique at an abortionists’ convention. As the doctor finishes demonstrating how a vacuum is used to shred and tear out the baby’s brain, he receives an ovation from his colleagues.

What must God think of us indeed?

A question “pro-choice” Christians might want to reflect upon…

Given to us by Jesus in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, the Our Father, or Lord’s Prayer, is common to all Christianity.

The Our Father consists of a salutation and seven petitions to God our Almighty Father and Creator. The first three petitions are to the glory of God calling first for His Name to be honored as “hallowed”, second for His Kingdom to come, and third for His Will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven. In the last four petitions we ask God in return to meet our needs.

As the only prayer Jesus taught us, each sentence of the Lord’s Prayer must be of profound importance. But how many “pro-choice” Christians recite by rote the word’s “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” without ever asking themselves how the barbarous, merciless act of abortion could possibly reflect God’s holy will for His children?

The theological position taken by most pro-choice Christians is that God has endowed us with free will. Case closed. Their thinking apparently runs along the line that the gift of free will is license to do as we please irregardless of whom we may hurt or even destroy. Therefore it is of no concern to God if women exercise their free will by “choosing” to dispose of unplanned babies in an abortionist’s garbage pail.

In attempting to reconcile Christianity with liberalism and feminism, this type of twisted logic is the height of preposterous self delusion.

Yes we have been given the gift of free will. But with all sincerity and love, we encourage our pro-choice sisters and brothers to take their thinking to a level compatible with the intellect and conscience that God also endowed them with. Those are the gifts by which we are able to discern whether our will coincides with God’s.

Lying, greed, slander, hatred and adultery are all exercises of the free will given to us by God. But few Christians would claim that since these acts are not illegal, they are not contrary to God’s holy will. Intellect and conscience prevail.

Given the gifts of intellect and conscience, no Christian can honestly conclude that the daily dismemberment, decapitation and poisoning of 3,000 helpless baby boys and girls, all created in God’s image and likeness, is in accordance with His will.

When praying the Our Father we petition God that His will on earth be enacted exactly as it is carried out in heaven. No matter how one may attempt to rationalize or justify support of abortion, and support for elected officials who enable abortion, the pro-choice position is nothing less than a personal decision to assert man’s will over God’s.

Prayers lacking sincerity and commitment are meaningless. Before praying the Lord’s Prayer in vain again, pro-choice Christians need to reflect upon what actually happens during an abortion and then use their gifts of intellect and conscience to discern God’s will on earth for His unborn children. It is unlikely to involve a garbage pail.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Grant our pro-choice brothers and sisters the grace of humility to submit their will to Yours that millions of Your children may experience the precious gift of life that You have willed for them from all eternity.

Our Christian Conservative Spectator blog has temporarily moved off of politics to run a series of posts on “Turning America To The Divine Mercy” as offered to mankind by Jesus through the Diary Of Saint Maria Faustina.

Perhaps at no time in our history has America as a country been in such dire need of God’s Mercy, and the state sanctioned genocide of 52 million helpless boys and girls in their mother’s wombs is without doubt the greatest reason.

Cloaking the dismemberment, decapitation and poisoning of our children as a “freedom” may be Satan’s greatest achievement. A woman’s freedom or “right to choose”, we are told by feminists and the billion dollar abortion industry, is a “privacy issue” which impacts no one else. But someone always suffers for each abortion.

Jesus Himself made that clear to us when Saint Faustina began to experience nightly sufferings in “reparation to God for the souls murdered in the womb”.

The following excerpts from diary entry 1276 describes Saint Faustina’s sufferings

“September 16, 1937. I wanted very much to make a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament today, but God’s will was otherwise. At eight o’clock I was seized with such violent pains that I had to go to bed at once. I was convulsed with pain for three hours; that is, until eleven o’clock at night. No medicine had any effect on me, and whatever I swallowed I threw up.

At times, the pains caused me to lose consciousness. Jesus had me realize that in this way I took part in His Agony in the Garden, and that He himself allowed these sufferings in order to offer reparation to God for the souls murdered in the wombs of wicked mothers.

I have gone through these sufferings three times now. They always start at eight o’clock in the evening and last until eleven. No medicine can lessen these sufferings. When eleven o’clock comes, they cease by themselves, and I fall asleep at that moment. The following day, I feel very weak.

This happened to me for the first time when I was at the sanatorium. The doctors couldn’t get to the bottom of it, and no injection or medicine helped me at all nor did I myself have any idea of what the sufferings were about. I told the doctor that never before in my life had I experienced such sufferings, and he declared he did not know what sort of pains they are.

But now I understand the nature of these pains, because the Lord himself has made this known to me…. Yet when I think that I may perhaps suffer in this way again, I tremble. But I don’t know whether I’ll ever again suffer in this way; I leave that to God. What it pleases God to send, I will accept with submission and love. If only I could save even one soul from murder by means of these sufferings!”

From the day Cain murdered Abel, someone always suffers for the taking of innocent life. And so it is, so it must be, with abortion. The child torn from the safety of the womb and discarded in a garbage pail to be sure. The mother, many times. Often times the fathers and/or grandparents. Lives and souls wounded and often destroyed.

But now, after years of spurning God’s greatest and most loving gift – life itself – God’s justice is beginning to demand reparation from America as a nation. The accelerating plunge of our country into the abyss is no political or economic stutter step. Why would America escape the Divine retribution that has always been visited upon the merciless practitioners of genocide?

And we all, including the innocent such as Saint Faustina, will make those reparations to God unless America reaffirms our founding fathers’ commitment to a God given inalienable right to life for all, from conception until natural death, and we each turn to Jesus and implore His Divine Mercy.

That is the whole basis for Jesus’ message to mankind through the Diary Of Saint Maria Faustina. Jesus invites, virtually begs us, to turn to His Divine Mercy, open to even the worst of sinners, before He returns to us as the instrument of His Father’s Divine Justice.

And ultimately it is how long pro-choice Christians continue to assert their will over God’s that will decide America’s fate.

Today the Catholic Church celebrates the beatification of Pope John Paul II, the final step prior to Sainthood. On the day of John Paul II’s funeral in April 2005, Vatican Square teemed with signs reading “Santo Subito” – Sainthood Now. He was that kind of man. He had that kind of impact on the world.

Blessed John Paul II was the People’s Pope, by far the most widely traveled, popular, loved and revered Pontiff in modern history. He was also one of the most effective – instrumental in ending communist control of Eastern Europe, diminishing the schism with the Eastern Orthodox Churches, reaching out to Protestants and effecting rapprochement with Judaism and Islam.

The man’s inherent humanity renewed the Church’s beleaguered image and his innate love of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary, coupled with an incredible energy, revitalized the faith of millions of Catholics.

And all of these accomplishments, all of the love and faith that Blessed John Paul II inspired in people around the world, can be traced to the focus of his Papacy. The Gospel of Life.

Evangelium Vitae – The Gospel of Life – was John Paul II’s most well known Encyclical. But the Gospel of Life is not just about condemning abortion as liberals would have us believe.

In summarizing and re-asserting a millennium of infallible Catholic Doctrine, Evangelium Vitae underscored that the very essence of life is God. “Man is called to a fullness of life which far exceeds the dimensions of his earthly existence, because it consists in sharing the very life of God. The loftiness of this supernatural vocation reveals the greatness and the inestimable value of human life even in its temporal phase.”

Thus, as well as being created in the image and likeness of God, from the moment of conception each human life exists as part of God’s very existence. Therefore it stands that any crime against human life – contraception, abortion, euthanasia, suicide, murder – is a crime against God.

And any crime against the dignity of life – poverty, slavery, prostitution, pornography, addiction, homosexual marriage – is likewise an affront to God, Who lives in all of us. As is communism which places the value of the state over the value of the human being. For John Paul II and Ronald Reagan, their determination to end communist control of Eastern Europe was as rooted in the Gospel of Life as their opposition to abortion.

Though Pope John Paul II showed that Gospel of Life applies to almost every aspect of human existence, the focal point of Evangelium Vitae had to be abortion. By 1995, when Evangelium Vitae was published, abortion was sweeping through the world like a pestilence. Nothing destroyed more human life than abortion. That is still the case today.

And in 1995, as is the case today, the Church was under attack from within by “progressive” Catholic theologians, politicians and educators engaged in a concerted effort to scandalize the Catholic Faithful by disputing or distorting the Catholic Church’s immutable teaching that abortion is an intrinsic “moral evil”.

True social justice for the poor and oppressed, as preached in Evangelium Vitae, has been twisted by progressives into grounds for American Catholics to justify their support of the liberal politicians who enable the dismemberment, decapitation and poisoning of over one million helpless pre-born boys and girls each year.

Nothing could be more contrary to the teachings of Blessed John Paul II. And on this day he is surely looking down upon his misguided pro-choice brothers and sisters in Christ, with that beautiful, loving smile, and asking you to come home on life, the very essence of our loving God.

The lies and deceptions of Satan on abortion are many and well woven. But God has given us the capacity to discern the truth on abortion if we truly choose to do so. Blessed John Paul II made that clear in Evangelium Vitae.

“Even in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties, every person sincerely open to truth and goodness can, by the light of reason and the hidden action of grace, come to recognize in the natural law written in the heart (cf. Rom 2:14-15) the sacred value of human life from its very beginning until its end, and can affirm the right of every human being to have this primary good respected to the highest degree. Upon the recognition of this right, every human community and the political community itself are founded.”

On this Good Friday we offer an excerpt from The Prayers and Personal Devotions of Mother Angelica, collected and edited by Raymond Arroyo.

Mother Angelica is the incredible nun who, starting with $200 and a vacant garage, founded the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) in 1980. EWTN is now the largest religious media network in the world. Mother was also the driving force behind the construction of a magnificent Shrine dedicated to the Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, AL.

Though now impaired by the effects of a stroke, Mother’s no-nonsense adherence to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and profound love of Jesus and the Blessed Sacrament, coupled with a beautiful sense of humor and ability to relate the scriptures to daily life, brought hundreds of thousands of lapsed or misled Catholics (including yours truly) back home to the Church.

Mother Angelica, of course, has always been an outspoken opponent of abortion, which she referred to as “terrorism” in our country. Mother very appropriately incorporated the evil of abortion in her personal prayers for the Stations Of The Cross. At the Seventh Station, when Jesus falls a second time, Mother sets an example for us in praying for abortionists who have fallen so badly in their lives.

Jesus endured the Way Of The Cross and the Crucifixion for all of us. He prayed for each of us from the Cross, including abortionists, many of whom are themselves misled victims of the the intrinsic evil that is abortion. We can do no less.

We adore Thee O Christ and we bless Thee
Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world

Jesus, as You fall the second time, have mercy on all abortionists, Lord, and all those who destroy human life. Give them light to change their ways. Through the power of Thy Spirit, Lord, change their hearts to see the evil they do.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, we recommend and consecrate to you all those who may have ever had an abortion and those who may contemplate it today. May they have the grace to embrace and defend life.
