Father Frank Pavone At The 2012 March For Life
January 28, 2012
Why Father Frank is the heart and soul of the pro-life movement
The 2012 March For Life was the largest by far. Crowd estimates exceed 400,000, topping last year’s march by at least 50,000.
There were numerous well attended pro-life events over the three day event. Especially noteworthy was the appearance of Father Frank Pavone of Priests For Life who typically heightened enthusiasm and brightened spirits wherever he showed up.
This was Father Frank’s first public appearance following his recall to the Diocese Of Amarillo, TX by Bishop Patrick Zurek last September.
During his eighteen years of tireless effort at Priests For Life, Father Frank has gradually become the defacto head of the pro-life movement and he has been greatly missed. The following video clips from the MFL show why Father Frank inspires such love and ardor among committed pro-lifers of all religions and even pro-life atheists.

Father Frank Pavone’s First Sunday In Advent Message
November 27, 2011
And Father Frank’s prayer for welcoming every child
Though Father Frank Pavone remains in the Diocese Of Amarillo, TX at the request of his Bishop, Father Frank continues to preach the Gospel Of Life on the Virtual Road of social media.
At the beginning of this Advent season of preparation and renewal, Father Frank encourages his fellow priests, deacons and seminarians to proclaim the culture of life as we proclaim the coming of Christ.
This is an important message for all Christians to reflect upon. As a country which has acquiesced to the government sanctioned killing of 3,500 – 4000 helpless preborn children a day in our abortion clinics, America as a nation can no longer claim to welcome the coming of the Christ child.

The Best Way To Support Father Frank Pavone
October 8, 2011
Flood Priests For Life with donations
In a letter dated September 29, Bishop Patrick Zurek states that “Father Frank A Pavone remains suspended. He is to remain in the Diocese for an indefinite period of time for prayer and reflection.”
Many are understandably upset and frustrated over this ambiguous situation in which, as Father Frank points out, “The diocese is saying two things at the same time. They are saying that I’m a priest in good standing and yet they are saying that I’m suspended.”
Yet we would caution against petitions, e-mails campaigns and angry blog diatribes which, at this point, will do nothing except fuel the fire.
Anyone who knows Father Frank, surely knows the best way to show support for his life long dedication to saving our unborn brothers and sisters in Christ – Flood Priests For Life With Donations!

Father Frank Pavone’s Greetings From Amarillo
September 16, 2011
Pray for this man of God
“There’s no issue more important, there’s no tragedy profound, there’s no mission with more urgent priority than stopping the killing of children.”
That is Father Frank Pavone. That is his life – ending abortion, the greatest human rights issue of our time.
That is why no one believed for a minute the allegations of “deep concerns” over Father Frank’s “stewardship of the finances of Priests For Life” contained in Bishop Patrick Zurek’s incendiary letter “suspending” Father Frank from Priests For Life. Father Frank would simply never jeopardize Priests For Life which saves the lives of countless children every year.
The letter became public on Wednesday. The ensuing firestorm of protest, combined with an utter lack of any evidence, forced the Diocese Office on Thursday to issue what amounted to a complete recantation of Bishop Zurek’s charges.
Today Father Frank Pavone posted this video from his current confines in Amarillo.

Diocese Office Recants Allegations Against Father Frank
September 15, 2011
Father Pavone not “being charged with any malfeasance or being accused of any wrong doing”
Fortunately for Bishop Patrick Zurek of the Diocese Of Amarillo he just happens to be out of town.
The pro-life community’s response to Bishop Zurek’s incendiary letter announcing his suspension of Father Frank Pavone as National Director For Priests For Life has been loud, angry and virtually unanimous – No One goes after Father Frank without concrete evidence.
And Bishop Zurek apparently does not have it. As quoted in yesterday’s post, Bishop Zurek’s carelessly thrown bomb cited his “deep concerns regarding his stewardship of the finances of the Priests for Life organization”. Bishop Zurek further claimed that Father Pavone has shown “incorrigible defiance of my legitimate authority as his Bishop”.
Today the Diocese Of Amarillo was forced to issue a letter that basically amounts to a retraction of the Bishop’s allegations. And the incredible disparity between the language in Bishop Zurek’s letter and that of the Diocese’s clarification raises a significant question on what’s really going on here.

Father Frank Pavone Responds To Bishop’s Charges
September 14, 2011
Has Father Frank just gotten under one too many clerical and political skins?
Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests For Life has been “suspended” from his pro-life ministry and ordered back to the Diocese of Amarillo, TX.
Bishop Patrick Zurek of Amarillo has cited “deep concerns regarding his stewardship of the finances of the Priests for Life organization”. Bishop Zurek further claims that Father Pavone has shown “incorrigible defiance of my legitimate authority as his Bishop.”
Father Frank? No one in the pro-life community is buying it at this point, especially when the charges are related to Priests For Life, which Father Frank Pavone has developed into one of the most prominent, most effective pro-life organizations in the world.
Father Frank wasted no time in responding to the charges in an online statement and in the following interview.
