The clip is indeed ripe with profanity, and several young women openly boast of having had abortions. So much so that it is possible that they were mugging for the cameras - trying to be outrageous for shock value.

But even if that were the case, what truly disturbs is the age of the mostly female demonstrators - early twenties and younger - and the utter callousness they display for helpless life. These young women have obviously been embittered by the indoctrination of radical feminism.

The day will come, however, for some of these women who abort their children, when they will suffer from the scars of feminism, ravaged by guilt, shame and despair. And their feminist mentors could care less. Sacrifices to the cause.

The shrieking rhetoric, the signs, the 60s style chants and the bitter expressions say it all. Young women indoctrinated to believe that the wanton killing of one’s own child is the ultimate expression of a woman’s freedom.

It is clear in the video that these demonstrators view abortion as a badge of honor, a right of passage in the feminist movement, which has made the dismembering, decapitating and poisoning of preborn babies a cause célèbre to the point that some young women become pregnant for the sole purpose of destroying the child in an abortion mill. And they are assured they will be lauded and supported by the feminist movement through any and every abortion.

What young women never hear from their feminist mentors, of course, is that hundreds of thousands of women can testify that the brutal reality of undergoing an abortion often proves to be a woman’s worst nightmare. Damage to the reproductive system and long term psychological damage arising from guilt and depression are not uncommon.

Every year abortion healing groups provide grief and guilt counseling, combined with spiritual healing, to thousands of women and men who had been misled into believing that abortion is a women’s rights issue involving a “simple medical procedure” for dealing with “problem pregnancies”. Nothing more than an expensive form of birth control.

The fortunate find their way to groups like Rachel’s Vineyard and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign where they are restored and made whole again. Many, like Point Of View talk show host Carmen Pate, go on to become some of America’s most effective spokespersons for the pro-life movement and true women’s advocates in the debate over abortion.

Many other women, however, are never able to overcome post-abortive trauma. Now viewing their “choice” to kill their children as the mark of Cain rather than a badge of honor, regret and depression drive many to alcoholism, drugs and even suicide.

And where are their NOW gals abortion rights mentors? Indoctrinating the next generation of victims.

During these 40 Days For Life we pray not only for the unborn, but for the healing of all who have been scarred by the after effects of abortion. Here is a prayer composed by Carmen Pate.

Heavenly Father, You are our Healer. You have forgiven all my iniquities and removed my transgressions from me as far as the east is from the west. Guilt no longer has dominion in my life. Lord, we pray that post-abortive women across this nation will run to You to receive the gift of redemption and healing that comes from You only. In the name of our Savior we pray
Amen

Earlier this afternoon the House voted 240-185 to pass Rep Mike Pence’s (R IN) Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act, which prohibits granting federal funds to abortion providers under the Title X federal family planning assistance program. In short, the bill defunds Planned Parenthood of the $330 million in “grants” that had been written into the federal budget.

Fine with us, of course. But frankly, the initial expressions of outrage from the left are hard to understand. Liberals should view today’s vote as a great victory. Aren’t they ever happy? Mike Pence has given the left what the left has always demanded. Government out of our bedrooms.

First, the defunding measure should hardly come as a surprise in light of the most recent rash of undercover videos depicting PP employees aiding and abetting statutory rape and sexual trafficking of 13 and 14 year old girls.

But these minor indiscretions with minors don’t seem to warrant mention in early feminist reactions to Pence’s win. Instead, the Huffy Post, the KOS Kids and reborn an anti-Catholic again author Anne Rice are all decrying the new lack of federal tax dollars for “family planning services”.

These people aren’t listening to themselves. Such complaints are yet another example of feminists not realizing the contradictory nature of most of their arguments. In Murder By Any Other Name, we caught Anne Rice telling Joy Behar “I do think it’s [abortion] the taking of a human life”, but following up with “I certainly would not ever vote for abortion to be outlawed”.

“Keep the government out of our bedrooms” has been the feminist battle cry for abortion since day one. But somehow it’s fine, a virtual necessity as we’re hearing now, for Uncle to pony up for everything from condoms to the morning after pill for use in bedrooms across the country. And much of the federal funding for those bedroom conveniences has come through Planned Parenthood (complete with a business card in case they don’t work).

Well today ladies, Mike Pence has responded to your demands. He’s getting the federal government out of our bedrooms.

And don’t be so upset. Just find yourselves another rich Uncle.

__________

For the record, ten democrats – Dan Boren (OK), Jerry Costello (IL), Joe Donnelly (IN), Dan Lipinski (IL), Mike McIntyre (NC), Collin Peterson (MN), Nick Rahall (WV), Silvestre Reyes (TX), Mike Ross (AR), Heath Shuler (NC) – joined the defunding effort.

Seven republicans – Charlie Bass (NH), Judy Biggert (IL), Mary Bono Mack (CA), Charlie Dent (PA), Robert Dold (IL), Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ), Richard Hanna (NY) – voted against the measure, and Justin Amash (MI) got up the gumption to vote “present”.

Feminist hysteria is reaching new heights

The Radiant Cross has generally made a point of not depicting graphic pictures of abortion victims. We feel it appropriate to do so in this article. As Father Frank Pavone of Priests For Life states, “America will not reject abortion until America sees abortion”. Be forewarned the picture at the end of this post is disturbing.

As the demise of the democratic party’s control of congress becomes increasingly apparent, radical feminism is reaching new heights of hysteria. The government, we are told, will “force women to have babies”. This could imply all sorts of weird things. Sarah Palin as Secretary Of Mandatory Reproduction at the very least.

But what the hysterical NOW gals really mean, of course, is that the day could come when women in America might not be able to have their unborn children dismembered, decapitated or poisoned for convenience’s sake. An America without Roe v Wade.

As public opinion continues to turn against abortion, radical fems and the abortion industry have little else to fall back on other than painting hysterical scenarios. NOW members will typically resort to waving coat hangers (Coat Hanger Hysteria) and their parrots at OMSNBC will continue to squawk dire warnings about a fascist takeover of women’s bodies.

Because when it comes right down to it, nothing positive can be said about the brutal act of abortion when taken at face value. The tired old euphemisms about women’s healthcare”, “family planning”, etc, have worn thin and even the most hard core abortion proponents laughably fall all over themselves trying to avoid using the ugly word itself.

Forcing women to have babies
The flimsy foundation on which some of “the government will force women to have babies” nonsense is based upon, are statements by some pro-life candidates that even in cases of rape, abortion should not assumed to be a foregone conclusion. That is not the same thing as saying that in an America without Roe rape victims would be forced to bear a child. Merely that some consideration should be given to the innocent life involved.

In pre-Roe days, the mother’s life took precedence over the life of an unborn child. In cases of rape or incest, the psychological well being of the victim was also considered to be justifiable grounds for abortion.

None of this would change in a post Roe era, but the rape hysteria, incessantly propagated by Rachel Maddow, will doubtlessly continue to mount in the hope that the issues of one ugly act will be clouded over by another.

The “penalty question”
The other dire warning about an America without Roe comes in the form of a question. If Roe is overturned what should the penalty be for procuring a non-medically necessary abortion? This is a favorite of Chris Matthews. If abortion is murder, he smugly asks, would the woman be put in jail? The doctor? This is supposed to leave pro-life advocates in an untenable position. Actually put a woman in jail? Who could fathom such a thing?

A just society. In 1870 the AMA determined that life does begin at conception. And even most pro-choice advocates admit that abortion is the taking of a human life. So the answer is easy. Depending upon the state involved, and the circumstances, both woman and doctor could be charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter or criminally negligent homicide, etc.

The overwhelming majority of Americans witnessing any abortion procedure, or even an ultrasound of an abortion, would unhesitatingly agree that a murder had taken place. As young as 5 weeks, a fetus can be seen struggling to avoid the abortionist’s instruments. And mounting medical evidence undeniably confirms that the child being aborted suffers excruciating pain. As would any human being who was being dismembered by a vacuum device, medical shears or injected with poison.

Which is why America will never be given the chance to vote on abortion. Jail time? Yes. The “choice”, ladies, is yours to make before conception.

The Abortion Holocaust Museum
America’s collective conscience is reemerging. Roe v Wade still reigns, but will not prevail. The time will come when Americans will look back on this ugly, unconscionable period in our history and shake their heads in disbelief.

An Abortion Holocaust Museum, memorializing the genocide of millions of American children, will one day display the instruments, videos of the barbaric procedures depicting the struggling and pain, and pictures of mangled little bodies thrown into garbage pails and dumpsters.

And we will look to heaven and pledge “never again”.

Attacking The Family

Pro-life sentiment continues to build in America and feminists are fraying at the edges. Their spokespersons are becoming unglued. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Not with Barack Obama in the White House.

In 2007, Michelle Obama personally wrote to every major pro-abortion group promising that husband Barack would be their man on the “Freedom Of Choice Act”. The FOCA would have rescinded the federal ban on partial birth abortion, the Hyde Amendment ban on federally funded abortions and all existing state laws providing common sense/decency restrictions on abortion. The landscape for a feminist nirvana and a multi-billion dollar windfall for Abortion Incorporated.

Candidate Obama had promised Planned Parenthood that “the first thing I’d do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act”, and sweet baby Barack instantly became the heartthrob of every NOW babe, the leading star of Women’s Media Center and first choice on EMILY’s list.

But as president, Barack Obama hasn’t fulfilled feminism’s fantasies. The radical brutality of the FOCA is even opposed by most pro-choice voters and congress wasn’t about to take it up. And contrary to expectations, the majority of Americans now label themselves as pro-life, state legislatures continue to pass those common sense/decency restrictions that provoke feminist ire and pro-life/pro-family positions are receiving major media exposure.

The final bitter straw may very well be watching feminism’s hoped for expansion of abortion in America, under the guise of “healthcare benefits”, go down the drain with Obamacare, or blocked by the Stupak-Pitts Amendment.

Strong and invincible though they may be, the culminative effects of these small pro-life victories seem to be taking a toll on the feminist psyche. The pressure is bringing out feminists’ true colors as they resort to their traditional fall back position. Suppression of the truth and free speech.

“Un-American hate”
A perfect example is Ms Jehmu Greene, president of Women’s Media Center, seen in this video trying to justify, in rather unlady like fashion, Women Media Center’s tactics in suppressing Dr James Dobson’s organization Focus On The Family’s and their “Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life” campaign. As can be seen, Ms Greene has an obsessive fixation on Focus On The Family. The organization, she fears, is “luring” young people to their website where they will be brainwashed into deciding not to have abortions, or opposing two lumberjacks from Axmen tying the knot.

It was also Ms Greene’s Women’s Media Center that voiced the most vitriolic opposition to the Tim and Pamela Tebow Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life Super Bowl commercial. WMC’s fear was that the Tebow ad might actually encourage women contemplating abortion to consider bringing their children into the world. WMC headed a petition to CBS to drop the 30 second spot which they labeled as “un-American hate”.

The Tebow ad, as it turned out, did not even mention the word abortion or the phrase “pro-life”, and was generally well received as positive, tasteful and humorous. The only hate feminists could point to was Pam Tebow’s reference to son Tim as a “miracle baby”.

Actually, Focus On The Family only spends approximately 10% of their budget on right to life and traditional marriage issues. But Women’s Media Center’s determined assault against Focus On The Family has continued relentlessly, simply because the traditional American family represents a threat to liberalism. And liberalism is what feminism has always really been about.

WMC managed to scrape out a minor victory when the NCAA caved. But what the Ms Greenes of the distant left are really bemoaning is the gradual erosion of public support for liberalism and the feminist false idol of abortion. Especially on the college campuses of America. And it scares them.

So feminists are being forced to ratchet up the assaults on free speech. Like all liberals, they know they will always lose a debate that centers on the facts.

But those once incredibly powerful phrases anti-choice, anti-women, anti-”inclusive” and homophobic have all been so overused they no longer have any meaning or carry any impact. Maybe Women’s Media Center can come up with a new zinger for their next campaign to suppress free speech.

“Hey, Hey. Ho, Ho. The American family has got to go.”

Ultimately that may be feminism’s only hope.
