Obama’s “pill mandate” has unleashed a powerful Catholic backlash
The Pill Mandate is blowing up in both of Barack Obama’s faces. The diversionary attempt to rally female voters to the president’s side just ain’t workin’.
And what moves the Pill Mandate into the really bad idea column is the energizing effect it has had on the hierarchy of the Catholic Church. Priests are generally constrained by their Bishops from speaking out on issues even remotely seen as political. But the mandate has clearly been the final straw.
Scores of priests are suddenly letting lose from pulpits, blogs and videos against not only on the injustice of the mandate, but also on the evils and dangers of abortion and contraception.
Here Father John Hollowell confronts Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards on the mandate and the destructive lies and disinformation PP perpetrates upon the young, the frightened and the ignorant.

30 year old law student Fluke likes sex, but not paying for contraception
Last week 2 democratic congresswomen stormed out of a House committee hearing on the First Amendment implications of President Obama’s Pill Mandate.
The story generated by democrats was that an unnamed law student who needed, but could not afford, birth control pills as part of her cancer treatment of an ovarian cyst had been prevented for lending a woman’s voice to the hearing.
On Friday Nancy Pelosi held a special committee hearing just to allow Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke to voice her desperate plea to have free contraception coverage included in all private health insurance plans.
Contrary to the promos, however, Ms Fluke is not suffering from any medical condition, unless that term now applies to an active libido.

The abortion industry and their president hope to establish precedent over Catholic opposition
(11:28 PM Barack Obama’s personal valet watches with concern as the president paces nervously)
Sir, exactly who’s coming that’s got you so worked up? After all, the First Lady is on the Riviera again this week
Never mind who Smithers. What time is it anyway?
11:29 Sir, two minutes later than the last time you asked

Government says where religious freedoms begin and end
Yesterday government flexed its muscle when HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced “historic new guidelines” which require all health insurance plans to cover the entire costs of “contraception methods and contraceptive counseling”.
This is what Obamacare finally gives us. Not vitamins for pregnant women, children or seniors. Not childhood immunizations. Not antibiotics. Just mandatory free contraception – including abortion-inducing drugs and elective sterilizations.
Barack Obama and Kathleen Sebelius could care less about anyone’s cost of birth control per se. There is a two fold purpose to “the pill” mandate. First a windfall for the president’s beleaguered benefactor Planned Parenthood. Second, and equally as important, the president is sending a message to conservative Christians, particularly the Catholic Church.
Government decides where religious freedoms begin and end. Get used to it.
