The Unite States is in the minority when it comes to the legalized killing of our preborn children. Approximately 75% of the countries in the world have refused to sanction abortion.

With good reason. Religious and moral considerations (powerful as they are) aside, children are the lifeblood of any nation and the willful destruction of future generations through abortion will eventually bring about the end of even the strongest of societies and cultures. Just as we are now experiencing the self destructive effects of having decimated two generations of Americans through some 52 million abortions.

Over 52 million children who, if our society had protected their inalienable right to life as guaranteed in the Declaration Of Independence, would today be contributing to American innovation, our economy and the support of Social Security and Medicare.

And yet the Obama administration, in concert with the United Nations, is working ceaselessly to promote the suicidal folly of abortion around the globe, especially in third world nations where crucial humanitarian aid can cruelly be used as both carrot and stick to intimidate governments to recognizing the UN’s fictitious “International Right To Abortion”.

The UN effort to fabricate an international right to abortion began in 1994 and backfired from the start. After extensive debate, the United Nations International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), actually issued a document urging prohibitions against promoting abortion for “family planning” and urging countries to avoid abortion altogether.

Pro-abortion forces in the UN, including the Clinton administration, simply began working around the prohibitions by promoting abortion’s biggest lie – that abortion is an essential form of healthcare and therefore a “human right”. In order to make the big lie fly, the UN Human Rights Commission officially declared childbirth to be the gravest risk to a woman’s health. Thus was woven out of thin air the UN’s International Right To Abortion.

UN officials, supported by US legal opinions, began informing developing nation members that under international law these countries are bound by “treaty” to legalize abortion on demand. Mexico and Columbia eventually changed their abortion laws to comply.

Few other countries that had not previously legalized abortion, or that severally restrict abortion, have brought into UN’s bogus edict. So entered the Obama administration with the big carrot/stick, in the form of millions of tax payer dollars and millions more in private grants from the likes of population control billionaires Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, to “encourage” such countries to legalize or expand abortion services.

Among Barack Obama’s first official acts as president was to rescind the Mexico City Policy, which had prohibited the use of tax payer dollars to fund abortions in foreign countries, and to reinstate funding for the UN Population Fund which subsidizes abortions around the world including forced abortions in China. Lovable granddaddy Buffet has personally donated $3 billion to fund abortions in America and abroad.

In order to keep Uncle Sam’s and granddaddy Buffet’s largess flowing, government workers in Africa, South America and Asia travel through villages encouraging women to seek abortions.

Last year VP Biden was sent to Kenya to pressure the government to adopt a new constitution which would include the legalization of abortion. In a public speech Biden blatantly brandished the carrot and the stick stating “We are hopeful, Barack Obama is hopeful, I am hopeful that you will carry out these reforms to allow money to flow.” The US contributed $26 million tax payer dollars to help pass the constitution under which a woman merely has to say that she fears giving birth to obtain an abortion.

Needless to say that most of those US and Buffet dollars for abortions land in the coffers of Barack Obama’s puppet masters Planned Parenthood International. Statutory rape and child sex trafficking apparently are not considered big deals in most developing countries.

Aside from the question of unethical, if not illegal, use of 26 million tax payer dollars to influence a political referendum in Kenya, the first thought that has to come to mind is “Has Our President No Shame Whatsoever when it comes to his ruthless zeal in promoting abortion”?

The United Nations is well known for what it is – a corrupt, anti-American, anti-Semitic organization whose officials function at the behest of the highest bidders. The UN’s ridiculous contrivance of an “International Right To Abortion” is a clear indication that the abortion industry has been purchasing international influence through their brought and paid for man in the White House who is using our taxes dollars for the purpose.

But if there has been one area in which the United States Of America had still maintained the respect of the entire world, it was our unflinching generosity in aiding the poorest and neediest of nations without regard to politics.

But all that has changed with the Obama administration, either directly or through the United Nations, using the promise of desperately needed humanitarian aid to coerce developing nations into legalizing or increasing the abortion of their children.

It can be very difficult to evaluate what tumbles out of the mouth of Barack Obama’s less that average Joe. Official policy statement, misstatement, wishful thinking, Abbot & Costello routine? Who can be sure?

Probably with the intention of keeping his dubious VP out of Washington during the president’s latest vacation, Mr Obama sent Joe Biden to other side of the world. Biden’s mission was ostensibly to ease Communist China’s growing qualms over the crumbling US economy.

What that mission had to do with China’s One-Child Policy, enforced through state ordered abortions and sterilizations, is hard to guess, but less than average Joe is apparently all for it.

“Your policy has been one which I fully understand – I’m not second-guessing – of one child per family.”

Within hours White House damage control was “clarifying” Biden’s statement. But in this case Vice President Biden was simply stating official policy. The Obama administration supports Communist China’s One-Child Policy and every taxpayer in America is helping to fund it.

Within 48 hours of assuming office, Barack Obama signed an Executive Order rescinding The Mexico City Policy which had prohibited the use of American tax dollars to fund abortions in foreign countries. Every leader has his priorities.

This opened the door for the US to resume funding for the UN Population Fund which directly subsidizes those forced abortions and sterilizations in Communist China under their One-Child Policy.

US taxpayers contributed $55 million dollars in 2010 and $40 million in 2011 to the UN Population Fund. President Obama has requested $47 million dollars in funding for 2012.

All religious considerations aside, the American economy is being crushed by debt, millions of people continue to lose their homes to foreclosures, real unemployment is at 18% and rising, food stamp usage is at an all time high, and we sit idly by as our government gives $95 million dollars to the United Nations to help fund compulsory abortions and sterilizations in a communist country?

The purposely misdirected focus of this story has been just another foot in the mouth blunder by hapless Joe B.

The real story here is that the cries to heaven from women in China who are being forced to abort their babies or submit to sterilization are our tax dollars at work.

For a change, less than average Joe is not the fool in this one. We the people are the fools.

And the government of China says “thank you”.

Barack Obama may just turn out to be the best thing going for the pro-life movement. The hardhearted zealotry of the Obama administration’s pursuit of completely unrestricted abortion on demand has focused national attention on the stark realities of abortion as never before. And the more the American people know about abortion, the more they stop and think about abortion, the more repulsed they become by abortion.

There was a line in the movie The Usual Suspects that went “the greatest trick the devil ever played was to make us think he didn’t exist”. And so it has been with the benign face the hard core abortion lobby used to mask the truth about abortion over the last 37 years. Cloaking abortion as a privacy, political or women’s rights issue diverted attention from the true issue- the innate barbarity of taking an infant’s life, by some of the most gruesome procedures imaginable. The greatest human rights issue of our time.

Carefully crafted euphemisms – “choice”, “family planning” and “reproductive rights” – were incorporated into our lexicon in order to ease the collective conscience of our nation over what was taking place each day in the abortion mills of America.

Typical of this relentless campaign to deceive was National Public Radio’s memo issued to staff members last month. On air NPR employees are now required to refer to pro-choice proponents as “abortion rights advocates”, while pro-life groups are to be described as “abortion rights opponents”. No mention is made of the most fundamental of all rights, the right to life.

But as Barack Obama dropped all pretense of moderation on abortion upon assuming office, the carefully constructed mask began to shred, and so began a resurgence of America’s collective conscience. This resurgence of America’s conscience on abortion is especially evidenced by new laws being enacted in Nebraska and Missouri.

Protecting women and the unborn
On Monday the Nebraska legislature passed a bill requiring women seeking abortions to take physical examinations and undergo psychological testing. The psychological exams will include an evaluation of “situational factors” such as whether a woman is being pressured into procuring an abortion.

Nebraska is the first state to pass such legislation designed to protect women from many of the common physical and emotional after effects of undergoing an abortion.

Nebraska is also likely to pass another first in the nation bill outlawing the abortion of fetuses 20 weeks and older. The legislation is based upon conclusive evidence that babies not surprisingly experience excruciating pain during common abortion procedures- dismemberment by vacuum devices or surgical shears, piercing through the back of the skull or injection with poisons.

States can just says no to abortion funding under Obamacare
On March 22, the day after Obamacare was foisted on America, Missouri rapidly passed a bill which just says no to state funding of abortions as mandated in the federal “healthcare reform” bill. The president secured passage of the bill by issuing an Executive Order that theoretically prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for abortions.

The Executive Order was promptly labeled a farce by both republican and democratic members of congress. As pointed out by Missouri State Senator Scott Rupp:

“The executive order that was supposed to fix this is not worth the paper it’s printed on. The Supreme Court has said that executive order cannot trump law, and the law says that it has to be covered. States have to enact this unless they do want to subsidize abortion. We need to enact this opt-out provision to continue the longstanding tradition in Missouri that we do not use public funds to subsidize abortion coverage.”

Pro-life activists in the other 49 states need to start lobbying their state legislatures for prompt passage of similar bills.

The MO bill also imposes additional restrictions on health-insurance abortion coverage, limiting abortion insurance coverage to optional riders, or a health insurance plan to which someone can opt in.

On March 30, the Missouri House passed a bill designed to protect teenage girls from predatory adult “boyfriends”. The bill requires abortion providers to notify prosecutors anytime a girl younger than 18 seeks an abortion, irregardless of whether the abortion is actually preformed. This legislation is clearly in response to the pro-life activist group Live Action’s series of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood “counselors” covering up cases of statutory rape.

The bill also makes it a crime to coerce a woman into undergoing an abortion, and requires abortion providers to provide women seeking abortions with fuller disclosure on the state of the fetus’ development and the risks of undergoing abortion.

The bill still needs to pass in the MO Senate.

“Common ground”- as in scorched earth policy
The pro-abortion lobby, headed by chief activist President Obama, sanctimoniously harps that both sides of the abortion issue need to “find common ground” and work to “reduce the number of abortions”. But each and every common sense/decency restriction achieved by the pro-life community over the last 37 years has been ruthlessly opposed in the courts.

Parental notification for teenage girls seeking abortions. Forty eight hour waiting periods to reconsider the consequences of taking the life of your child. Requiring women considering abortion to be shown an ultra sound of the living human being in their wombs, so they can fully understand the magnitude of such a decision.

There will, without doubt, be immediate challenges to Nebraska’s law designed to safeguard women planning to undergo an abortion with routine physical exams and psychological evaluations. There will also be opposition to the law protecting the life of a child sufficiently developed to experience the pain of dismemberment, decapitation or poison injections.

The abortion lobby will file suit to invalidate Missouri’s laws to safeguard teenage girls from adult predators (and Planned Parenthood for that matter) and prevent a woman from being pressured into terminating the life of her child.

There is, of course, no fathomable reason for anyone of conscience to oppose such legislation, and America is beginning to realize it.

President Obama pledged his benefactors in Abortion Incorporated that the pro-life movement would never turn back the clock on Roe v Wade.

But in focusing America’s attention on the barbaric realties of abortion during his first year in office, Mr Obama has reawakened the collective conscience of the American people. And suddenly the cries of Yes We Can are taking on a whole new meaning.

The Pelosicare version of the president’s healthcare takeover bill is scheduled for vote on Friday. Speaker Pelosi’s pride and joy is everything the pro-life community, and the country, feared. HR 3962 is a socialist manifesto comprised of 1990 pages of business and personal mandates, business and individual taxes, penalties, new bureaucracies empowered to make medical decisions, and federal funding for abortion.

Throughout the summer and fall, democrat committee chairmen have squashed every amendment offered by pro-life members of both parties. The final attempt to eliminate funding for abortion is the Stupak-Pitts Amendment offered by Bart Stupak (D MI) and Joe Pitts (R PA).

It is incumbent upon us all to work for passage of the Stupak-Pitts amendment as a matter of principle. However, as predicted in Crying She Wolf, expansion of unrestricted abortion services, cloaked as essential healthcare benefits and fully funded, will be included in any “public option” signed into law by Barack Obama. Irregardless of passage of Stupak-Pitts.

The only way to stop the Abortion Mandate is to stop HR 3962. Stopping The Mandate Means Stopping The Bill

Rest assured that…
If Speaker Pelosi allows the Stupak-Pitts Amendment to come to a vote she will be confident that it will easily be circumvented. There are, no doubt, an abundance of loopholes and escape clauses buried in the bill that will allow for invalidation or by pass of any amendment that might restrict abortion in any way. The primary reason for the massive size of the bill is to camouflage HR 3962′s most insidious evils.

Anything contained in the House bill, including Stupak-Pitts if passed, can simply be tossed out when HR 3962 is reconciled with the Senate’s version of “healthcare reform”, before a final bill is produced and presented to the president.

Stupak-Pitts addresses only federal funding for abortion. Anyone who knows anything about Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and their cold hearted commitments to unrestricted abortion on demand, knows that nested nicely, somewhere within HR 3962′s 1990 pages, are the means to implement every single provision of the Freedom Of Choice Act by government mandate. Count On It

Last, but hardly least, Stupak-Pitts will not affect the life issues involving government rationing of medical care for the elderly, disabled and chronically ill. Barack Obama has boasted that under the public option “We are God’s partners in life and death” (False Witness). Government will separate the wheat from the chaff in choosing out those who merit the type of state of the art medical care received by Ted Kennedy from those in the swirling masses who warrant no more than a morphine prescription and fond farewell.

It is absolutely critical for the entire pro-life community to voice support for the Stupak-Pitts Amendment. The struggle to protect America’s unborn citizens will not end, even should HR 3962 pass in the House. Congress must be constantly reminded of the  mounting opposition to abortion in the country.

Nevertheless, the only sure way to protect the lives of all of our brothers and sisters, from conception to the moment of natural death, is to stop HR 3962.

The “Healthcare Reform” hustle on abortion is now being aided and abetted by liberal religious organizations citing the Capps Amendment to HR 3200 as proof that President Obama has no intention to include abortion services in the “public option”. Congresswoman Lois Capps is seen at the left demonstrating against California’s Prop 8 initiative restricting marriage to one man and one woman.

Obamacare supporter Chris Korzen, executive director of Catholics United (Catholics-United.org) gave the group’s imprimatur to HR 3200 claiming “The inclusion of the Capps Amendment represents a positive step toward health care reform that preserves existing policies prohibiting federal funding for abortion services…”.

It remains to be determined whether groups like Catholics United, or Jim Wallis’s Sojourners, are intent on fooling themselves, bent on fooling others, or both. Even casual perusal of the text of the amendment bares it for what is intended to be. Legislative bait and switch, written in Clintonese and riddled with loopholes.

The “Capps Amendment” was actually written by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman’s staff. Congresswoman Lois Capps (D CA), “offered” the amendment. Neither being defenders of the unborn, both Waxman and Capps have received 0% ratings on pro-life issues from the National Right To Life Committee.

It doesn’t even seem to dawn upon Mr Korzen and Mr Wallis that this is, to say the very least, a rather unlikely team of legislators in which to trust the fate of America’s unborn under Obamacare. Congressman Waxman has personally squashed every amendment proposed by well known pro-life congressmen, both republican and democrat. Amendments that were written in such a way as to actually prohibit abortion from being any part, directly or indirectly, of a “public option”. Can Catholics United and Sojourners seriously believe that the good Mr Waxman has suddenly seen the light with the Capps Amendment?

Abortion IS the social justice issue of our time
Simple common sense renders statements of faith in the Capps Amendment, at best, gross naiveté in overzealous pursuit of a social justice issue. And adequate access to healthcare is a social justice issue. But a simple tax-payer funded plan, through a private insurer, could adequately address the problem of insurance for those unable to afford it.

So the insistence of Catholics United and Sojourners that it is a moral, even spiritual, obligation for Christians to support HR3200, rings hollow as nothing more than a politically motivated response to President Obama’s call for liberal and progressive religious leaders to help establish government control over healthcare in America.

And in leaving the fate of the unborn in the hands of prominent pro-abortion zealots such as Henry Waxman and Lois Capps, Christian liberal and progressive groups are effectively turning a blind eye to the greatest social justice issue, the greatest moral and spiritual outrage, of our time. The destruction of 50 million children by some of the most barbaric manners of death imaginable. Murders of Jesus’ “Little Ones”, which continue at the rate of over one million per year.

Doin’ the hustle
The opening line of the Capps Amendment is intended to seem blissfully straight forward: ABORTION COVERAGE PROHIBITED AS PART OF MINIMUM BENEFITS PACKAGE. It could of ended right there if that was the true intent of Mr Waxman and Ms Capps.

The amendment instead runs on ambiguously leaving a hole through the opening statement a mile wide:

“The plan is not required (or prohibited) under this Act from providing coverage of services..”

“Nothing in this Act shall be construed as preventing the public health insurance option from providing abortion services that would not be legal for Medicaid coverage…”

ABORTIONS FOR WHICH PUBLIC FUNDING IS PROHIBITED
“..is not permitted, based on the law as in effect as of the date that is 6 months before the beginning of the plan year involved”

ABORTIONS FOR WHICH PUBLIC FUNDING IS ALLOWED
“..is permitted, based on the law as in effect as of the date that is 6 months before the beginning of the plan year involved”

Nothing is required, but nothing is prohibited. If it’s ok for Medicaid, its fine under the public option. Everything and anything is open to change based upon however “the law” is rewritten six months in advance. Ironclad as Bernie Madoff’s handshake.

Exactly how much of this amendment did Misters Korzen and Wallis actually read before calling upon Christian America to clammer on the President’s healthcare bandwagon?

The abortion head tax
The Christian liberal and progressive accolades bestowed upon the amendment focus almost entirely on federal funding for abortion, now prohibited under the Hyde Amendment. As if that should be the only concern. Rep Capps claims that her amendment “preserves the status quo” in that area. This is a Clintonesque parsing of words.

Should the Hyde Amendment ever just happen to be repealed under a democratically controlled congress, the federal floodgates are opened.

For the time being, abortions covered under the public option would be funded by a surcharge added to the premium of every participant. The funds accrued under this levy will be segregated from the dollars flowing into federal coffers so that technically the government will not fund abortion procedures. This will be of great comfort, no doubt, to the babies whose lives are terminated by the vacuums, surgical shears and poisons of Abortion Incorporated via President Obama’s “public option”.

The Wall Street Journal concluded that such accounting flim flam amounts to nothing less than a slightly indirect method of taxpayer funding for abortions under the public option. “An amendment approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee would allow coverage of abortion”. Funding for abortions, The Journal confirmed, would “come from the portion of the premiums that are paid by the individuals. A sliver of those monthly premiums would be segregated and abortion services would be reimbursed from that separate account.”

The FactCheck web site, run by staff at the University of Pennsylvania, also verifies this conclusion pointing out that abortion services would be provided “so long as the plans took in enough private money in the form of premiums paid by individuals or their employers. The Capps language also would allow private plans purchased with federal subsidies ‘affordability credits’ for low-income families and workers to cover abortion.”

In short, the Capps Amendment amounts to nothing less than an abortion head tax on every participant in the “public option”.

In False Witness we reported upon President Obama’s arrogant assertion, during a teleconference call with liberal and progressive rabbis, that “we are God’s partner in life and death”. This virtually blasphemous statement, alone, should give Christian organizations such as Catholics United and Sojourners overwhelming grounds for concern over such a man’s intentions.

We remind Misters Korzen and Wallis that Christian Americans are united in spirit, under Our Savior, in the quest for social justice in every aspect of our society. Adequate access to healthcare is a goal that can easily be achieved without extending government’s inefficient, heartless, greedy grasp into America’s healthcare system. If that is the real goal here.

And it can be done without taking one step backwards in facing the challenge God has given us to achieve victory in the greatest social justice issue our time.

Self deification and slander of opponents of socialized medicine marked the highlights of President Obama’s two teleconferences with liberal and progressive religious leaders last Wednesday.

An avowed proponent of “separation of church and state”, Mr Obama seems to have found religion in a foxhole as barrages of civil protest against Obamacare continue to rain down on the White House and congressional democrats.

Our suddenly pious president hurled the bible at opponents charging “there are some folks out there who are, frankly, bearing false witness“, referring to those expressing concerns that government intervention in America’s healthcare system will inevitably lead to rationing of medical care for the elderly, handicapped and seriously ill. President Obama labeled these concerns “ludicrous” and that any talk of rationing was an “extraordinary lie.”

The “witnesses”, however, are completely grounded in truth when pointing out that every government controlled healthcare program in existence currently utilizes rationing to “control costs”. The elderly, handicapped and seriously ill require the greatest expenditure of healthcare dollars in any system. And those are exactly the areas where costs will have to be “controlled” under Obamacare. This is simply an economic fact of life under government funded healthcare. The president labeling those who oppose him on these grounds as liars is nothing less than slander.

Indeed it was the president who rendered himself the ultimate false witness during a second “private call” with a select group of rabbis. Mr Obama pointedly admitted that under Obamacare end of life decisions will indeed be placed in the hands of government as, verging on blasphemy, he arrogantly proclaimed “we are God’s partners in life and death“.

Intended to be non-publicized, the “God’s partners” boast, and other details of the call, were mistakenly posted online in several tweets by Rabbi Ralph Moline, Washington, DC. The posts, deleted within an hour, were picked up by Politico.com and Fox News. Opps!

In the first call, the president was clearly bent on blending politics and religion to his benefit as he paraphrased biblical text. “I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper”. The democratic party’s plan for “healthcare reform”, he claimed, is a “core ethical and moral obligation.”

No Christian will argue with the fact that God commands we care for each other. We are meant to care for those of any faith, or of no faith. But only in a manner that is truly in our brothers’ and sisters’ best interests, and is just in the eyes of God. Following, blindly, any program which points any aspect of our society in the direction of socialism does neither.

False premise
If the whole healthcare reform discussion is really just about the uninsured, Mr President and liberal/progressive members of the cloth, why not simply address that problem in itself? Why initiate a dismantling of a healthcare system that 85% of the American people are happy with and is the envy of any country suffering under the bureaucratic nightmare of government controlled healthcare?

For a simple start, no one in America can be denied medical treatment by a hospital. And the vast majority of physicians will treat uninsured patients according to their ability to pay. Our overly maligned pharmaceutical companies have programs to provide life saving medications on the same basis.

The over inflated 47 million uninsured dwindles to approximately 12 million when illegal aliens and those who can afford insurance, but choose not to carry it, are stripped out of the equation. And of the twelve million, many could afford to pay something. Why not simply taxpayer fund a plan, through an established private health insurance provider, for our uninsured brothers and sisters, with those who can, contributing such premiums as they can afford?

Throw in some legislation addressing portability of healthcare insurance, elimination of state boundaries on healthcare insurance companies in order to increase competition, medical malpractice tort reform, and healthcare savings accounts. President Obama would have a bill with virtually unanimous support throughout the country.

The simplicity of such an obvious solution belies the utterly false premise of a healthcare crisis in America and exposes Obamacare for what it is. A liberal/progressive plan, ultimately intended to make every American citizen completely dependent upon government for their medical care.

False statements
For one freely characterizing opponents as “bearing false witness”, the president must have had his own pants fireproofed before beginning his Obamacare appeal to carefully chosen members of the clergy.

“Many of you have older members of your congregations. They’re all now scared to death that somehow we’re talking about cutting Medicare benefits… That is, again, simply not true.”

Per a July 15th report by The Hill “The House bill would be paid for by roughly $500 billion in Medicare and Medicaid cuts…”

“End-of-life counseling is entirely voluntary… It gives you an option that people who can afford fancy lawyers already exercise”

The “fancy lawyer option” is simply a “living will” which can be drawn up in order to provide guidelines to loved ones in the event someone is unable to make medical decisions on their own. Living will forms can easily be obtained and do not necessarily require anything fancier than a witnessed signature.

But a world of difference resides between someone drawing up a living will and that same person being told by a government employee that further cancer treatment just doesn’t make sense financially to Uncle Sam.

And counseling, voluntary or otherwise, is not the essential question. The crux of the issue is treatment. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, and a health-policy adviser in the Office of Management and Budget, has made it clear that treatment decisions, under a government funded healthcare system, will ultimately reside in the hands of government. “Services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens … should not be guaranteed”.

“You’ve heard that this is all going to mean government funding of abortion. Not true. These are all fabrications…

This is President Obama exhibiting his mastery of Clintonese. While there is no mention of abortion in any of the pending “healthcare” reform bills, the democratic leadership has pointedly eliminated any amendments or language which would explicitly exclude abortion procedures from being considered a “benefit”. Healthcare reform”, under the Obama administration, would set up an “Advisory Committee”, chaired by Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius. Ms Sebelius’ zeal for unrestricted abortion on demand is perhaps matched only by President Obama’s.

The Advisory Committee will be empowered to dictate what will, and what will not, be included in the Essential Benefits Package offered by the government’s health insurance plan. It is the intention of the president, the leadership of the democratic congress and Ms Sebelius to have the unrestricted abortion on demand “rights” detailed in The Freedom Of Choice Act included as part of the “Essential Benefits Package”. The president of Planned Parenthood has already said that private health insurance providers will also be expected to include the same “benefits” in their plans.

False witness, false “messiah”
According to National Center for Policy Analysis, the German breast cancer mortality rate is 52% higher than in the United States. Prostate cancer mortality is 604% higher in the United Kingdom and 457% higher in Norway than in the United States. Canadian patients wait twice as long to see a specialist for hip surgery or cancer than in the US. Over 70% of Germans, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders and Britons say that their systems need “fundamental change” or “complete rebuilding.”

Yet this what the democratic party, under the leadership of Barack Obama, wants to implement in America. This is the only way, the president says, that we can fulfill our obligation to care for our uninsured brothers and sisters.

This not the truth. And when President Obama tells others “I’m going to need the help of all of you… I need you to spread the facts and speak the truth“, he should take time to reflect upon the sin of scandal- leading to others into sin. Leading others, in this case, into bearing false witness against the truth. The truth concerning the implications, for all the American people, of implementing government control over America’s healthcare system.

And we ask those members of the clergy who participated in these teleconferences to also reflect upon the fact that socialism, in any form, views religion as an enemy. Unless it can be exploited.

In proclaiming “We Are God’s Partner In Life And Death“, Barack Obama has made it clear that under Obamacare government will stand on equal footing with God Himself.

If any form of socialized medicine is established in America, it will be government that separates the wheat from the chaff in choosing out those few of our brothers and sisters who merit Ted Kennedy state of the art medical care from the swirling masses who warrant no more than a morphine prescription and fond farewell.

Whether a simple matter of one too many “Obama girls” and Obama fainters during the campaign, or a true messianic complex, Barack Obama’s view of his presidency has clearly drifted into megalomania.

God’s partner?

President Obama’s highly ballyhooed (the clucks at MSNBC actually had a countdown clock) press conference on healthcare spoke volumes about what the president and congressional democrats have no intention of speaking about. Questions from a complicit press on the actual details of healthcare “reform”, and how the numbers can’t possibly add up, were either not forthcoming or not answered.

The whole show boiled down to the by now standard Obama MO of declaring an imminent crisis and reciting a cliché. The cliché of the evening was “no one can be denied coverage”. The deliberately misleading big lie inherent in all government controlled health care. Because coverage” does not equate with, or guarantee, treatment.

The truly deadly “R word”, rationing of healthcare, is by necessity and design an integral component of every government controlled healthcare plan in existence. And this one will not be any different just because Barack Obama is initiating it.

And “controlling cost”, from the first day of Obamacare onward, will focus on the two easiest targets: the elderly and the unborn.

Picture DMV and postal employee type “case evaluators” making return on investment decisions on who, and who is not, worth the expenditure of government dollars. Initially, these decisions will primarily be made upon the basis of age. Americans past the age of 75, or 80 tops, will simply not “qualify” for certain types of treatment. Euthanasia by indifference.

One of the president’s favorite code words, “empathy” will be bandied about in the form of doctor assisted suicide for the elderly ill willing to cooperate “for the good of the state”. All costs included in your coverage.

As the cost of the fiasco begins to overwhelm the country, as government healthcare has done everywhere else it has been implemented, the category of those offering a poor return on government’s investment of healthcare dollars will be expanded to include those, of any age, who are severally ill with diseases requiring intensive long term treatment.

Television and radio abound with reports detailing the cessation of treatment for the elderly and severally ill in Canada and Europe.

The lives of America’s unborn, already denied protection under our laws, will be another primary area in which government will “control cost”. Mandatory amniocentesis will be used to screen for potential “cost excesses”. Children with birth defects. Pressure to abort such children will be tied to that presidential magic word “empathy”. The pressure will likely begin with “counseling” encouraging the parents to be to do the “right thing”. But, again, as the cost of healthcare continues to drive up deficits, children with birth defects could easily cease to be born in America.

And it won’t stop there. In England, members of parliament cite families with an excess of two children as “irresponsible”. In January, Nancy Pelosi began paving the way for a similar consensus in the US when she stated that population control is necessary for a healthy economy.

There can be no doubt that any healthcare bill coming out of the US House of Representatives will include provisions for completely unrestricted abortion upon demand. All of the evils of the “The Freedom of Choice Act” dressed up as healthcare for children. Stealth FOCA as Father Frank Pavone of Priests For Life recently termed it. Abortion Incorporated is relishing the potential for windfall profits in Obamacare.

“Universal coverage” may sound wonderfully reassuring. When you’re well. But if this legislation becomes reality, America will find “Obamacare” to be the door into An Ugly New World we should have never entered.

From the inception of Roe v Wade, abortion has been sold to America as a women’s health and rights issue. But if the true purpose of providing abortion services is the health and welfare of women, why is the pro-abortion lobby so adamantly opposed to mandatory full and honest disclosure of the possible adverse physical and psychological effects women often experience as the result of undergoing an abortion?

And how can anyone exercise a “right” as monumental as terminating the life of their own child without a complete understanding of the realities of what happens to the child during an abortion and the alternatives that are available?

As hundreds of thousands of women can testify, a hasty, uninformed decision on abortion can haunt a woman for years to come, in ways they might not necessarily expect.

So here’s an interesting proposition to put to the self righteous “choice” politicians who incessantly preach their concern for the health and happiness of women. Contact your “pro-choice” senators and congressional representatives asking them to join the pro-life community in protecting women by working to enact a federal law mandating Full And Honest Disclosure by Abortion Providers and Counselors.

Such legislation would ensure that the physical and psychological well being of women are the uppermost concerns at America’s abortion clinics. Wouldn’t this be a perfect patch of that “common ground”, President Obama spoke so earnestly about, for both sides to come together on?

Any slick Christian bookie will be more than eager to give attractive odds to anyone willing to wager they will receive a positive response, if any. Nevertheless, a massive outcry for providing women considering abortion with full and honest disclosure on the realities of abortion would shred, once and for all, the cloak of pretense pro-choice politicians hide behind. Because the flow of campaign contributions from the hard core pro-abortion lobby, Abortion Incorporated, would cease and desist for any pro-choice member of congress courageous enough to vote for such legislation.

Several states have enacted full disclosure laws, and abortions in those states have decreased. Ab Inc is only too aware of this. And there is no profit in a woman walking out of an abortion clinic with the intention of bringing her child to term. It’s just that simple.

But with 51% of the country now identifying themselves as pro-life, it is important to keep pressing for legislation that will actually “reduce the number of abortions in America”. Contact your senators and congressional representative asking them to enact a federal law mandating Full And Honest Disclosure by Abortion Providers and Counselors.

Request that the following four bold type criteria, and anything else you deem important, be included in any bill introduced for debate.

(1) The truth about life at conception and fetal development
Abortion “counselors” generally make a point of never referring to the developing child in terms of a living human being. The American Medical Association (not Sarah Palin or The Pope) concluded in 1870 that human life does begin at conception. By the time a woman determines she is pregnant, the fetus she carries is beginning to develop organs and limbs. The body of a child is growing in her womb. A body that will be destroyed during any type of abortion procedure.

Several states with full disclosure laws require that a woman considering abortion be provided with an ultra-sound “picture” of the child within to ensure that there is no misunderstanding on this crucial point. An ultra-sound should be a mandatory requirement of a full disclosure law.

(2) The truth concerning the nature of abortion procedures and the pain likely to experienced by the aborted child
The true nature of abortion procedures are masked by euphemisms such as “Family Planning”.

Suction Aspiration is an abortion procedure in which a human fetus is torn from the mother’s womb by a vacuum device. Other procedures, depending upon the extent of fetal development, involve breaking the child apart by manual dismemberment or injecting the fetus with poison.

Intact Dilation and Evacuation / Intrauterine Cranial Decompression Abortion, more typically referred to as Partial Birth Abortion, is an advanced trimester procedure in which the child’s cranium is crushed with a forceps (“cranial decompression’) or pierced with surgical shears.

Another “late term procedure” involves intentionally inducing premature birth and leaving the baby to die for lack of medical care. A common way to dispose of Downs Syndrome and other severally handicapped children (what God must think of us).

Per numerous pain specialists, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, by the eight week of fetal development an aborted child experiences all the pain one would expect from these pitiless procedures.

“An ultrasound video tape and movie of a 12- week suction abortion, commercially available as The Silent Scream, narrated by Dr B Nathanson, a former abortionist, clearly shows the pre-born baby dodging the suction instrument time after time, while its heartbeat doubles in rate. When finally caught, with its body being dismembered, the baby’s mouth clearly opens wide. Hence, the title.”

A more pointed title might be Mommy! Help Me!

(3) The tuth concerning potential physical and psychological damage that a woman can experience as the result of an abortion
Women can suffer a variety of negative after effects as the result of undergoing an abortion. Potentially severe damage to the reproductive system is not uncommon. Even more common is long term psychological damage with guilt and depression. Some women are emotionally damaged for life.

(4) The truth about the very realistic alternatives to abortion
There are numerous social agencies offering low cost or free prenatal care and obstetrical services for women experiencing the dilemma of a unplanned pregnancy for which they are financially unprepared. Adoption placement services are also available for women who would be unable to properly raise their babies, for any reason. Loving families are waiting to take those unexpected children into their home and provide all the love and care each new life deserves.

Contrary to the pro-abortion lobby’s self-serving propaganda, abortion never need be a necessity.

Over 50 million American children have been lost to abortion since 1973. Many simply died as the result of the distant left’s promotion of abortion as a woman’s ultimate expression of freedom. The “exercise of reproductive rights”. How many of those children would be alive today if their mothers had been provided with all the facts relevant to abortion no one can say. Certainly the number would at least equal the hundreds of thousands of women who carry the regret of aborting a child with them every day.

The very least the women of America can expect from their “pro-choice” public officials and feminist leaders is that our nation’s laws mandate that every woman considering the drastic step of abortion be provided with Full And Honest Disclosure of all the realities that abortion involves.

There is no fathomable reason for resistance to the common sense, and the common decency, of such legislation. But there is little doubt that the “women’s rights” poseurs in Washington will experience a major case of “no habla” if confronted with it.

Barack Rodney King Obama just wants us to all get along. On record, throughout his political career, as a completely unrestricted abortion on demand zealot, and now fulfilling the wildest dreams of the abortion industry that gave their all to put him in the White House, Mr Obama yesterday piously proclaimed his heartfelt longing for both sides on the struggle for (and against) life to come together on “common ground”.

Disgracefully honored by the hierarchy of a formally prestigious Catholic University, President Obama, an accomplished master of duplicity, made maximum use of the opportunity afforded him. As was easily predicted in Say It Ain’t So Father, the occasion was manipulated by the president, and spun for every last ounce of propaganda by the Abortion Incorporated and the distant left to further cloud the Catholic Church’s once irrefutable position on abortion in the eyes of Catholic voters. Pelosi, Biden and Kerry must still be laughing.

The threads of this distasteful dog and pony show run far and deep. But let’s focus on the one, pointedly unasked, question that was central to the whole Notre Dame charade.

What, exactly, is this lofty common ground we should strive for Mr President?

What points should be mutually acceptable in the struggle on behalf of the over one million American children whose lives will be terminated, in the most barbaric, painful fashions imaginable, over the coming year? Exactly how many small mangled bodies tossed into Abortion Incorporated’s dumpsters should we agree on- just to show we can get all get along in Barack Obama’s America?

The fluff and the farce
In answer, the well worn red herrings are promptly blabbered out. “Working to reduce the number of abortions” and “working to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies”. All to the media’s sighs of admiration and accolades for the man’s wisdom, understanding and compassion. Solomon Obama.

These pat phrases are equivalent to a Miss America contestant stating she will “work for the good of children and world peace” if she wins. Nobody really knows what it means. Because it doesn’t mean anything. All bull feathers and fluff to snow the judges.

The president’s words on the subject of abortion should be taken with the same single grain of salt as his high minded discourses on “fiscal responsibility”. Those who truly care about the fate of the unborn children in our country need to close their ears to the empty rhetoric and judge Mr Obama’s true intentions by his acts- his voting record over the years and his policies as our president.

The facts
As an Illinois legislator Barack Obama was the only voice of opposition to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, passed to protect the lives of babies who somehow survived an abortion, and to prohibit the “procedure” of intentionally inducing premature birth and leaving the baby to die for lack of medical care. The latter a common way to dispose of Downs Syndrome and other severally handicapped children (what God must think of us). “What we are doing here is to create one more burden on women, and I can’t support that.” So said the man honored by Notre Dame University.

During the primaries, Michelle Obama personally wrote to every major pro-abortion group promising that husband Barack would be their man on the “Freedom Of Choice Act”. And the many tentacles of Abortion Incorporated responded lavishly with millions of dollars in contributions and promises of millions of votes. Pro-Choice darling Hillary Clinton was suddenly shut out. Sweet Barack became the heartthrob of every NOW babe, Planned Parenthood’s father of the year, winner of NARAL’s public service award and number one on EMILY’s list. Organizations well known for their heartfelt eagerness to reach “common ground” on abortion and “reduce the number of abortions in America”.

On the rare occasions the media would broach candidate Obama on the issue of abortion, one face would promptly recite the meaningless “hope to reduce the number of abortions” stump response, while the other gave an FOCA wink and a nod to the benefactors he had sold himself to. And enough voters, who morally or in concert with their religious beliefs, should have known better, brought the “reduce the number” pig in a poke to win the election for Abortion Incorporated’s brought and paid for “messiah”.

As our president, Barack Obama has worked to reduce the number of abortions by reinstating the Mexico City policy, by which American tax dollars are now funding abortions world-wide. As our president, Barack Obama has renewed US contributions, beginning with 50 million dollars, to the UN Population Fund which distributes money for “population control” including forced abortions and sterilizations in China.

As our president, Barack Obama signed an executive order providing federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, despite overwhelming scientific evidence that it accomplishes nothing (zero successful treatments or therapies) other than (1) the destruction of human embryos and (2) reinforcement of the abortion industry’s classification God’s children in the womb as meaningless blobs of tissue, suitable for any use man sees fit. Incredibly, Mr Obama simultaneously revoked a 2007 executive order that encouraged the National Institutes of Health to intensify adult stem cell research, which has produced 80 successful treatments and therapies, without requiring the destruction of a human embryo.

Our president is currently paving the way for “common ground” by attempting to weaken laws which protect health providers from being forced to perform procedures that would be in violation of their consciences or religious beliefs.

The “common ground”
Not once during his lofty speech at Notre Dame did President Obama even hint at the possibility of rethinking his hard core pro-abortion record, positions, policies or passionate commitment to passage of the Freedom Of Choice Act. So how is this “common ground” to be achieved?

By surrender. Barack Obama’s definition of bi-partisanship. If the defenders of America’s most helpless citizens would only abandon these meaningless tissue growths to the vacuums, surgical shears and poisons of Abortion Incorporated, our country could finally reach the idyllic common ground our insightful president longs to bring us together on.

Solomon Obama indeed. Just cut the babies in half.

Sending the absolutely wrong message, at a critical turning point in America’s struggle to save our unborn, the president of America’s most renown Catholic University has awarded Abortion Incorporated’s most committed politician an honorary law degree and extended an invitation to speak at this year’s commencement ceremony.

Notre Dame (“Our Lady”) University president Father John Jenkins, confronting the ground swell of outrage provoked by the invitation extended to President Barack “Freedom Of Choice Act” Obama, is attempting to justify this thoughtless gesture with a platitude about opening a dialogue. “We hope … for this to be the basis of an engagement with him.”

At best, this is naiveté on the part of a Catholic priest, in a very prominent position, who should know better. This gesture will be manipulated by President Obama, and spun for every last ounce of propaganda by the abortion industry, to further cloud the Catholic Church’s once irrefutable position on abortion in the eyes of Catholic voters.

There is no room for dialogue about the rights of the unborn with Barack Obama. He has made that irrefutably clear in his campaign speeches, his state and national legislative record, and the pro-abortion fervor of his first month in office.

If the president mentions the slaughter of our innocent at all, it will be the usual lie about “working to reduce the number of abortions”.

What will you do then Father Jenkins? Will you challenge the president to explain how his passionate commitment to passage of the “Freedom Of Choice Act” could possibly be construed as “working to reduce the number of abortions”? Or his reinstatement of the Mexico City policy, by which American tax dollars are now funding abortions world-wide.

Will you ask Mr Obama what purpose was served by his executive order providing federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, despite overwhelming scientific evidence that it accomplishes nothing other than (1) the destruction of human embryos and (2) reinforcement of the abortion industry’s classification of God’s children in the womb as meaningless blobs of tissue, suitable for any use man sees fit?

Likely not. And actually such confrontations would be inappropriate during a college commencement. So there will not be any dialogue, or engagement. Everyone will sit, listen and applaud politely.

The result? Barack Obama will return to Washington and continue to relentlessly pursue his policy of completely unrestricted abortion. He, along with pro-abortion Catholic politicians, will publicly misconstrue the whole honor, sit, listen and applaud farce as further proof that the Catholic Church’s position on abortion, and when life begins, are nothing more than subjects for theological debate. More Catholics will be misled by the Pelosi-Biden-Kennedy-Kerry lie that Catholics are free to support pro-abortion policies and candidates. No foul, and certainly no sin. Just choice.

And our helpless unborn, threatened so gravely by Barack Obama, will lose even more defenders.

Some 55% of Catholic voters supported Barack Obama, a candidate who stated repeatedly that his “first priority” in office would be passage of the Freedom OF Choice Act, legislation which will restore partial birth abortion and invalidate all federal and state restrictions on abortion in America. Such support was, in no small part, the result of many prominent Catholic academics, in Catholic universities, distorting, or proclaiming non-existent ambiguities in, the Church’s complete opposition to pro-abortion candidates.

Since the election, the Catholic faithful, and the millions of others in America committed to ending the barbarous murder of infants in the womb, have asked in despair “Where Is The Catholic Church?”.

At this moment, Father Jenkins, with the Freedom Of Choice Act looming over our unborn, we are looking to you.

Rescinding this invitation would do a great deal to reinforce (1) the Catholic Church’s complete and unwavering commitment to sanctity of life, and (2) every Catholic’s duty to oppose abortion and those in politics and the judiciary who enable the abortions of millions of children each year.

And, perhaps above all, we can pray together that your polite, but firm, rebuke will open President Obama’s heart and mind to the horrible realities of abortion, and the power he holds over the most helpless citizens in America.

Father, we need ya to win one. Speak out in defense of Jesus’ “little ones”. Win one for Our Lady.
