Is The Catholic Church Finally Taking A Stand?

November 15, 2009

Bishop Thomas Tobin confronts Rep Patrick Kennedy on abortion

The Catholic Church is finally confronting a member of the Kennedy clan on abortion, at least in the case of Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, Diocese Of Providence, RI. Bishop Tobin has not only called out Rhode Island Congressman Patrick Kennedy on Kennedy’s criticism of the US Conference Of Catholic Bishops stated opposition to abortion funding in pending “healthcare reform” legislation.

Bishop Tobin has also made it crystal clear to Kennedy that his arrogant defiance of the Church’s Catechism on the subject of abortion “is unacceptable to the Church and scandalous to many of our members. It absolutely diminishes your communion with the Church”. Though not officially barring Kennedy from the Sacrament, Bishop Tobin states that Kennedy, and other “pro-choice Catholic” politicians, should not receive communion.

We have repeatedly posed the question Where Is The Catholic Church? on the matter of the Catholic legislators who enable the million-plus abortions in America each year. The type of stance Bishop Tobin has taken with Rep Kennedy is long overdue. Let’s pray it’s not too late.

Notre Dame, “Common Ground”, And The Unasked Question

May 18, 2009

We compromise the unborn and Abortion Incorporated will say ok

Barack Rodney King Obama just wants us to all get along. Clearly on record, throughout his political career, as an unrestricted abortion on demand zealot, and now fulfilling the wildest dreams of the abortion industry that gave their all to put him in the White House, President Obama yesterday piously proclaimed his heartfelt longing for both sides on the struggle for the unborn to reach “common ground”.

Disgracefully honored by the hierarchy of a formally prestigious Catholic University, President Obama, an accomplished master of duplicity, made maximum use of the opportunity afforded him. As was easily predicted, the occasion was manipulated by the president, and spun for every last once of propaganda by Abortion Incorporated and the distant left.

Say It Ain’t So Father

April 2, 2009

Notre Dame’s president honors Barack “FOCA” Obama

Sending the absolutely wrong message at a critical turning point in the nation’s struggle to save our unborn, the president of America’s most renown university has invited Abortion Incorporated’s most committed politician to speak at this year’s commencement ceremony.

Notre Dame University president, Father John Jenkins, confronting the ground swell of outrage provoked by the invitation extended to President Barack “FOCA” Obama, is attempting to justify this thoughtless gesture with platitudes about opening a dialogue.

At best, this is naiveté on the part of a Catholic priest, in a very prominent position, who should know better.

Where Is The Catholic Church?

November 12, 2008

It’s time to take a stand against pro-abortion Catholic legislators

The Catholic Church has been one of the principal proponents in the struggle on behalf of America’s helpless unborn children since the unconstitutional Roe v Wade decree became a blight upon our nation.

With the “Freedom Of Choice Act” threatening our unborn, it is time for the Catholic Church to take a stand. It’s time to draw the line and make a few examples of Catholic politicians and academics who continue to flaunt their contempt for the Catholic commitment to the sanctity of life and who encourage other Catholics to do also.
